Title: LIF:MMO Official Updates
Post by: Asid on January 11, 2018, 09:30:47 PM
Fixes to Server Crossings, Instanced Battles, Guild quitters and more! (0.11.0.0)

The first patch of the year in 2018 delivers a lot of fixes! First of all, we’re glad to announce, that we’ve fixed all known issues related to the server node border crossings. That includes the crossing of these borders while mounted and while pulling a trader’s cart with your horse.

We have also added some fixes to our Instanced Battles system. We expect that players should have fewer problems joining these battles with an improved chance for them to start properly. There are still some issues that might persist, but we’ve added very detailed logging to the IB system, so fixing any remaining issues should not take that long.

Many players have asked us what the current algorithm is for picking the map for an Instanced Battle. IB logic tries to start IBs on the map that the defending guild is on. If this map is not available for the IB (not in a list of available maps for IB or occupied by another battle currently) the algorithm picks a random map from the list. We’re going to tweak this algorithm further during development.

Last, but not least, we’ve decided to fix the long-lasting exploit that certain players have used a lot. During official guild vs. guild wars, players that were about to die would leave their guild. That would result in a big alignment loss for player’s killer, since, technically, they just killed a guildless neutral player. To discourage such behavior in the future, we have decided to implement an “Oathbreaker” penalty - significant alignment loss including criminal status when leaving a guild.

Patch notes (ver. 0.11.0.0):

New features and tweaks:
•   All characters that are leaving guilds will lose 10 alignment (and will become criminals for a good amount of time)
•   Fixed city claim booting mechanics that were not working properly. Relogging or /stucking inside the guild city claim will move you outside of the CITY claim unless you have the proper “Can Enter” right. Same logic works for the private claims.
•   Added 'Wooden Arrow' and 'Wooden Bolt' crafting recipes. Only wood is needed for their creation and they’re primarily designed for training purposes.
•   Added alternative recipe for all types of arrows/bolts, requires 10 Branches instead of 1 Billet
•   Client version and location reporting string (in the left upper corner) is updated with additional info
•   When transferring from the Newbie Island to the mainland you should clearly see the name of the gaming world you’re transferring on now
•   Added Spanish localization

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed multiple known issues related to the server nodes borders crossings
•   Numerous issues with Instanced Battles are fixed: empty participant lists, inability to start in certain circumstances, corrected IB primetime calculation for different time zones (NA region).
•   Fixed a server crash related to the player’s equipment management
•   Fixed both server and client sided crash related to the players slipping from the horses and other players
•   Fixed an exploit with barter that allowed player to perform homecoming with all their inventory with them
•   Beehives now save gathered honey amounts between maintenances. That should fix current beehive issues.
•   Fixed Tailor's Bench damaged state

Fix it, tune it, tweak it, optimize it... (0.11.2.0)
18 JANUARY - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

In this patch, we are going to present a pretty bold attempt to significantly optimize the server side calculations to improve performance. And this is all in one package. Included with the optimizations are bug and crash fixes along with some tweaks as well! Hope you’ll like the mix. :)

Patch notes (ver. 0.11.2.0):

New features and tweaks:
•   5-ingredient food is boosted now. Eating complex foods like this will grant you an “Inspired work” and “Luck” effect and the duration of the effects depends on the quality of the food.
•   Quality of water that is used to water herbal gardens now affects the quality of the resulting plant
•   Herbal gardens now lose durability during usage
•   Some minor localization updates

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed a serious booster exploit that allowed to stack a booster multiple times. Those who obviously exploited this bug can expect a skill wipe at least or maybe even worse...
•   Fixed server crash related to the server node border crossing issue while mounted
•   Slightly optimized client-side performance
•   You can no longer get a quality 0 result from the Herbal Garden
•   Added missing Plaster House recipe icon

Announcement #145 Sharing the Beauty of Armor (0.11.11.2)
2 MARCH - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

Upon receiving many requests, we have decided to make Armor skins more available to the players in the game. Along with some discounts for these skins, you can now equip them on lower tier armors as well! After inspecting the number of Tier 3 armors in the game, we have decided to make them more available to players by increasing the blueprint drop chance.

We’re also working on a carriable flag item that will still allow you to be easily identified during the battle but will not cover your awesome armor skins as the current tabard does. You can expect these flags along with the new Guild Influence zone and increased penalty for losing the IB battles in the patch next week.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.11.11.2):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   You can equip the premium skin of the next armor tier on the current armor set. For instance, you can apply Heavy Armor skins on the Regular armors and so on.
•   Make Armor, Sew and Sew Armor abilities have an increased chance of dropping an armor blueprint now (5->15%). This chance can be doubled if you have the maximum (12) Luck on your character.
•   Fixed a lack of possibility to gather 100 quality resources and removed random components in this process
•   Added a proper message for getting increased alignment from praying

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed a wrong pairing algorithm in stables that resulted in an inadequate proportion of female/male species born
•   Fixed a server node border crossing and barter bugs that have caused some items to lose their regional attributes and become regular items
•   Fixed a couple of glitches/bugs with server node crossings. This should address several server crashes, horse and cart issues.
•   A couple of Barter window related fixes that eliminate Barter inventory related exploits
•   Fixed a bug that would make a horse younger after crossing server node lines
•   Fixed inventory total weight to take equipment weight into account (as it always was until the previous patch)
•   Multiple game model fixes that should slightly increase the performance of the client
•   Fixed Half-plate skin invisible torso problems. Fixed normal map issues for some premium skins.
•   Fixed cross servers damage infliction algorithm. That should lower the amount of server and client crashes.

Announcement #146 Guild Influence Zones, Unit and Heraldry Banners and More! (0.11.12.2)
9 MARCH - SAXXON

We’re implementing a long-awaited Influence Zone system!

In short, this means that Tier 3 and Tier 4 Guild Monuments will have an increased zone of influence around monuments. All Private claims, and even Tier 1 monuments, can be destroyed during JH if they are within an Influence Zone. This mechanic was designed primarily to combat troll Tier 1 claims and Private claims.

A Lesser Instanced Battle Totem is also introduced in this patch - It is cheaper, battle size is limited to 50 vs 50 players per battle and the losing side will only lose 5 tiles of Realm claim radius if defeated.

We have also implemented a solution for those who want to show off their cool looking premium armor skins and also be easily identifiable as a friend or foe on the battlefield. This solution is a Banner that you can now equip in the tabard slot in your equipment! Make sure to check premium skin options - unit leaders will be more visible for their unit members to see so there will be a tiny bit less chaos and confusion on the battlefield.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.11.12.2):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Implemented Guild Influence zone
•   Implemented a Lesser Battle Totem
•   Losing an instanced battle will now inflict a 10 tiles radius loss (5 for a mini/lesser IB)
•   Implemented new type of tabard - a Heraldry banner
•   Repair kits are 2x more effective on buildings and 4x more effective on crafting buildings
•   Resurrection sickness is now twice as long. Healing effect duration is shorter now. It is better to heal yourself now rather than dying.
•   Trade Posts are available to everyone now. If you want to restrict the usage of the Trade Post - surround it with gates and walls.
•   Demolition skill should no longer level up while shooting at Archery Target with non-siege damaging projectiles
•   Removed excessive additional damage dealt to training targets
•   Skill will no longer raise if a Gathering attempt fails. Implemented to counter certain exploits near the server nodes borders.
•   Horses will suffer from falling damage now
•   Added working recipes for Naphtha barrel trebuchet ammo and tweaked its damage
•   Workshops and Kitchen buildings should give a 20% bonus to the quality of items crafted. Maximum quality that can be achieved this way is capped by the real value of the skill of the crafter.
•   “Destroy” ability should no longer be the default/first selected ability in the context menu. This should minimize the amount of accidental deletion of buildings. In order for this change to take effect you should delete the \game\%region%\data\DefaultAbilities.xml file. Though it will remove all your previously set default actions.
•   Fixed and tweaked names and availability of Platemail premium skins
•   Added missing Novice Padded Helm skin
•   Corrected door frames inside the Big Plaster House model
•   Moved some ground tile abilities of the context menu into a submenu “Look for”

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed all known issues of terrain that had rips/holes
•   A client side crash involving server border crossings is fixed
•   Fixed an incorrect display of horses’ maturity
•   Fixed a server node crossing bug that would reduce a cart’s durability to zero, making it vulnerable to destruction

23 MARCH - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

We’ve been working super hard, but sadly were not quite able to properly test, and finalize, the Per Object rules management system this week, and have therefore decided to postpone it to next week. But we are really close! In the meantime, please enjoy our alignment/criminal, healing and other system tweaks.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.11.16.0):

New Features and Tweaks:

•   You can attack anyone without alignment loss or getting criminal on your guild’s territory, ally’s territory, friend’s territory or enemy(war standing) territory

•   Ability ‘Treat Patient’: amount of healed HardHP now only depends on the maximum HardHP of patient and healer's skill level - the current HardHP of the patient is not taken into account

•   Ability 'Simple Construction': decreased amount of building groups, in some recipes of 0-30 ability level softwood and hardwood billets are combined and now you can use both of them, also in some recipes nails were replaced by a simple rope;
•   Ability 'Furniture': most of the recipes changed and now you can use any types of boards and billets, recipes at level 0-30 become much easier;
•   Substances should now be dropped in the grave upon death

•   Fixed height change bugs caused by some abilities interacting with a terrain surface (planting, plowing, fertilizing etc)
•   Possible bug with disappearing Guild Monuments is fixed
•   Implemented better logging for incorrect materials loading on the client side
•   Fixed a bug where a horse would turn sideways if ‘turn’ key was held when mounting/unmounting

Announcement #150 Holidays, Combat Tweaks and a FOV Fix (0.11.17.3)
31 MARCH - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

April the first is the day of two holidays in the western world. We decided to give a nod to them by adding a little of our own feel of them in-game! :)

We’ve added a long-awaited fix for the horse stamina system, along with a few tweaks to the horses’ combat mechanics along with combat mechanics in general.

The FOV console/mod exploit is no more, so you can no longer expect to get sniped from a couple of -ahem- not-so-favorable players.

Oh! We’ve also patched in the ability to rename unmovable objects on your base. That is the basis for our upcoming update, which should introduce per object rules management system to you guys!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.11.17.3):

Holidays Additions:
•   You can now tame a moose and use it as a simple horse (ride and harness it to a trade cart)
•   Added an outhouse, during the Fools Day it can be used to flush your negative alignment a bit ;)
•   Horses now seem to be exhibiting some bunny-like features...

•   You can rename unmovable objects now
•   Massive claim rules and central city access rules refactoring, rules of who can access to what on what types of claims during or after JH should be more adequate now
•   You can apply new awesome shovel skins on your Shovel and Believer’s Shovel!
•   Added new Premium Decorations:
- Roadside Hangman
- Gottlung Hanging Column
- Gates of the Hanged Man
- Oak Belfry
- Bronze Belfry
•   Dismantle ability for decorations now requires ‘can destroy’ rights instead of just ‘can use’
•   Wooden Wall with Stairs recipe lowered required amount of Simple Ropes from 40 to 10

Buildings Individual Access Rights, IB reconnect, Character Customization and Transfer + More! (0.12.0.2)
27 April - Life is Feudal (Bobik)

First of all, we’re happy to announce that we have implemented the system that supports specific rules for each unmovable object. You can now give particular access rights for your gates, warehouses, houses and other buildings to individuals and/or groups of players. That should reduce risks of a betrayal for mass recruiting guilds.

Instant Battle reconnection functionality has also been implemented. If your client crashes while fighting in an IB, you can restart your client, enter the game with this character and you will be offered an opportunity to reconnect to the IB you have crashed in. We want to assure you that we’re constantly working on the stabilization of the IBs, additional layers of IB server DDoS protection and overall stability and performance of clients in IBs.

On top of this, we’ve added (re)customization of your characters, as well as character transfers (between worlds in the same region)!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.12.0.2):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Implemented a system that supports specific access rules for each unmovable object on a claim - it can be accessed through interaction on a building ingame, or via the dashboard on our site while browsing through a list of assets on your claim
•   Implemented character recustomization and renaming premium feature - it can be accessed via the character selection menu within the game (disconnect from your game to see the character list)
•   Implemented character transfers between the game worlds in the same geographical region (EU, NA, CIS)
•   Instanced Battles reconnection feature implemented
•   A proper and formal warning about alignment loss before looting a grave has been implemented which should now only warn you when looting will result in alignment loss
•   Resurrection sickness massive rework: resurrection sickness stacks up, significantly reducing your HP with each stack - skill loss is increased significantly with each stacked resurrection sickness
•   Significant adjustments to categories of items and their prices while selling them to the Crown
•   Fixed incorrect logic on Trespasser abilities that were used by guilds, in a state of war, to drop the alignment of attackers - a passersby can no longer trigger the alignment loss
•   Monuments (both guild and private) gain full durability after successful maintenance (not during JH), which should fix issues with some guild and private monuments not receiving damage during JH while in an influence zone
•   No more claim restrictions for ‘Light the Wick’ and ‘Extinguish’ abilities

--- Horse tweaks---
•   Added a courier horse
•   Fixed quality formula of heavy horse creation

•   Training will be interrupted if player dismounts horse
•   Players cannot mount another horse while training is in progress
•   Increased max harvest size of the small stable
•   Anti-cavalry stationary pikes now cause damage to horses on impact

•   Damage from poisons reduced by 10%
•   ‘Apply a Poison’ ability can be used in a combat stance

•   The Believer's Knife can now be used to craft the Archer's Gear
•   The quantity of billets for Wooden wall recipes has been reduced:

•   Freezing while loading due to the broken inventory positions file has been fixed

•   Added some more debug info on the client side, related to the inability to connect to some game servers
•   Fixed an issue where, when disconnecting from a server while sitting, character animations and controls would be messed upon reconnecting

Announcement #158 2nd Wave of Fixes for the First Major Update (0.13.5.0)

This patch is devoted to minor fixes as well as some tweaks and optimizations that we believe are necessary.

We also want to share that we’ve received a lot of feedback from our players on the Arena feature - we’ve taken the suggestions on board and are working on implementing some of these changes and also some fine-tuning that is needed. One of the features (queue size) is already dropping in this patch! The Global Arena queue and Team Arenas are in development (no ETA at the moment, but we will keep you up-to-date!).

We’ve also added additional logging and debugging into the code, to be better able to track and check a guild’s rating calculation algorithm. We want to make sure that guild ratings are as close to the real value of the guild as possible.

And lastly, we’ve also introduced a rather major optimization to the server side calculations; the results should be quite noticeable in crowded battles! But the fight is not over yet - the process of optimization is a constant and endless process that we’re continually working hard on.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.13.5.0):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Added information about an arena’s queue while player is waiting in said queue
•   Added designated PvP battlegrounds on Newbie Islands
•   Players are unable to upgrade their guild’s monument for 7 real life days from it downgrading after an IB defeat
•   Implemented an option to ring the decorative bell towers
•   Export of Flux and Flavour between worlds is now allowed
•   ‘Stone Wall with Inverted Stairs’ and ‘Stone Wall with Stairs’ recipes now require the same amount of resources
•   You can no longer use Baromsag to improve the quality of precious stones
•   Warehouse/wooden warehouse space limit increased (5000->15000) - Large Warehouse limit increased (15000->50000)

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Unmovable objects’ individual access rules are fixed and should now work properly
•   Implemented two major physics and horse related optimizations that should minimize the amount of lag in crowded open world areas and IB battles
•   Certain effects (armor type effects, premium effects etc) are no longer removed upon entering the arena or respawning after dying in the arena
•   Fixed a couple of arena-related crashes
•   Fixed a small lag spike at the end of each crop and forest growth iterations
•   Fixed some client crashes related to distant lands rendering
•   Guild lands should now be properly updated with a monument upgrade
•   You can no longer bury the Ferryman with terraforming actions on the Newbie Islands
•   Viscount and Viscountess should now be able to declare IBs on enemies
•   Premium titles should now be properly passed across the server node borders and should not disappear
•   Fixed influence radius information in the guild monument window
•   Incorrect calculation of blueprint chances during the carpentry abilities has been fixed

Some important Tweaks and Fixes
28 JULY - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

Announcement #160 Some important Tweaks and Fixes (0.13.7.1)

We have decided to add another layer of protection for the movable objects that are placed inside buildings in order to minimize the harm that can be caused if players use any exploits that are currently still in the game. We are aware of these exploits and will address them in future updates.

We want to thank you for your continued support, patience and help with testing the game and the massive PvP features with us. In the last few weeks, we have gathered a lot of important data with your help and used it to provide necessary code optimizations for the game - this patch contains a bunch of these optimizations too!

We’re also happy to share with you the fact that we are only a few steps away from starting tests of our *nix OS server build on the production servers. We are going to be using this new operating system on our hardware servers and it is much more suited to high loads and heavy demands placed on these servers. This will allow us to remove virtualization, which stands between our software and the hardware servers, and has caused multiple exotic infrastructure bugs during the operation of the game. Server-side calculations and networking performance should also be significantly improved when we introduce *nix OS!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.13.7.1):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Movable objects that are placed inside the unmovable objects (warehouses, houses, keeps etc) can no longer be opened, looted or moved during JH raids. It’s All About the Guilds. Almost.
16 August - Life is Feudal (Bobik)

Announcement #161 It’s All About the Guilds. Almost.(0.13.8.5)

Today's patch contains an equal amount of fixes and tweaks that are mostly devoted to our recent features: Outposts and Guild ratings - but there are some other tweaks and features included here too! We hope you like it!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.13.8.5):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Outpost lands of Order and Band types of guilds (that doesn't have guild monument) are now treated as in the state of war. Such outposts can now be captured by other guilds during JH, objects placed on its land can be destroyed or used during JH and such guild members attacked and killed without alignment penalties if they’re on the outpost lands.
•   ‘Proxy guilds’ (rank 10) guilds are not taken into an account when making derelicted checks on Green worlds.
•   T1 guild monuments are now automatically repaired after successful maintenance outside of JH
•   Shields on the back should now properly lose durability if being hit
•   Incomplete buildings and objects now take significantly longer to decay and disappear (up to 24 real life hours). You can use the ‘Inspect’ ability on incomplete buildings to see their durability and how soon they will decay and disappear.
•   Spam attacks on horseback and random attacks being triggered are now fixed. We expect slashing weapons to be more usable now in mounted combat.
•   Implemented tooltips for throwing weapons
•   A double claim loss penalty will be issued to defenders if they do not field anyone to an IB
•   Wild animals should properly react and run away from being hit with a torch now
•   Some minor art updates and fixes

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Guild ratings and rank calculations have been reworked, which should fix all known issues with inaccurate calculations
•   Notorious bug that would insta-heal horses if packed into inventory while dying is fixed
•   Fixed gallop+dismount bug that allowed some players to get over some walls with the help of the horse
•   Fixed a hack that allowed a player to observe everything from far above when resting
•   Newbie Island quest progression should not be lost after resets of the Newbie worlds
•   Stone gatehouse portcullis should not kill players caught while they’re closing
•   A couple of fixes for Arenas and IB connection bugs and problems
•   Attacking other players after crossing a server node border line in a combat stance should work properly now
•   Fixed ‘Chickens' Bounty’ quest - ‘Find the chicken coops’ task now properly ends

Tougher Outposts, Less Hanging Objects and Less Bugs (0.13.14.0)
13 SEPTEMBER - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

One of the most important features in today’s patch is the new mechanism that prevents building those absurdly long sleeping bag bridges on claims where you’re not allowed to drop movable objects. Now, if you carry an object on your back and switch to the warstance, you’ll get knocked down or do anything that forces the movable object to fall down on the ground, this object will be packed in the Drop bag without collision instead of being a 3D object with collision. We plan to improve this mechanism with further iterations to prevent the creation of unrealistic piles of movable objects in the game.

Another important part of the update is that we have made Outposts more resistant to siege damage. We want players to contest and fight for the ownership of the outposts instead of allowing one-sapper-charge guerilla griefing.

Last but not least, we’re deploying important fixes for some random server node crossing bugs along with other bug fixes and optimizations.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.13.14.0):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Movable objects that are carried on the back are now dropped in a loot bag instead of being dropped as a 3D object with collision
•   Outposts’ siege damage resistance has been significantly increased
•   Players that have entered the Town Claim or Outpost Claim outside of the JH period will be booted out to the border of those claims, if they log in DURING the JH period
•   Some info messages now contain the ‘i’ icon. New players can click on it in order to open the according game help page to learn more about the message contents
•   Inventory crafting is now accessible via the ‘O’ hotkey. On some older clients users may have to manually assign this key
•   A popup warning message will now prevent new players from creating characters with unused skill/stats points
•   Reworked some starting Newbie Island quests
•   Added some user-friendly improvements to the building construction window
•   Tweaked and improved some bow models and textures

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Made a series of server node border crossing bug fixes
•   Fixed an interface presets saving bug
•   Objects that are removed from the Trading Post due to exceeded storage capacity are now also removed from the Market
•   Fixed a server crash
•   Fixed female resting animation bug
•   The Esc and console screen will still display properly even when Screenshot mode is active
•   Some minor multi-thread calculation optimizations

Some Important Weekly Fixes (0.13.17.0)

O - for Optimizations (0.13.35.1)
13 DECEMBER - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

Thanks to you - our players and the series of recent open world PvP stress tests we’ve gathered a lot of valuable performance data. It has showed us that our current performance bottleneck is in some of our network protocols and the amount of data we transmit during gameplay.

Thus in the current patch, we have implemented seven(7) different network protocol optimizations that should significantly boost the performance and smoothness of gameplay during massive open world PvP engagements where the amount of players and horses in the same area can count into hundreds of players. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the upcoming stress test!

It is important to mention that we HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you stay tuned for the next 2 weekly Devblog updates for some important hints and news about upcoming information and the future of LiF:MMO.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.13.35.1):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Abilities that drain stamina will consume it instantly (and it will regen during the ability execution)
•   The highly detailed landscape setting is now turned off by default in all setting presets

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Seven(7) different network protocol related optimizations that should significantly lower amount of the network load both on the servers and clients increasing heavy load performance significantly
•   Fixed server crash related to the player’s position saving

Combat, Cheats and Christmas (CCC Patch) (0.14.0.0)
19 DECEMBER   - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

We believe that this patch will be the last one with major functionality in it. It will be the last update this year and also the last before the Life is Feudal: MMO 0.2.0 release! Make sure to read our upcoming Devblog this Friday to learn more!

The first ‘C’ in our patch stands for the Combat Patch that we had long promised to implement. Well, here it is. Feel free to check it out, and create new combat metas!

The second ‘C’ is for the No Cheaters or Closed Console and scripts. We have fully closed access to the console on our client, encrypted our own client-side scripts and implemented the mechanism that prevents the 3rd party scripts from the usage. Effectively, it will disable all current mods, unallowed mods and simple hacks that were reported by our players before. We hope you’ll enjoy cheat-free gaming now!
Unfortunately, with such 3rd party scripts closure, we’ve effectively disabled all known good mods. It was inevitable, but we had reimplemented the main functionality of most of those mods - inventory management. Thus, we hope, that you will not feel handicapped without your favorite mods. But feel free to suggest any client-side functionality you miss to use, so we can implement it for you!

Last, but of course not least, is the final ‘C’, which stands for Christmas, New Year and other upcoming holidays! You can already start to notice some festive features in-game - but just wait until Friday, when we reveal even more holiday fun so you can celebrate the season with your guildmates!

--- Horses ---
Hardy Warhorse
•   Pierce damage resistance multiplier is 0.3 now (was 0)

Everything for the Gods of Life is Feudal! (0.20.4.0)
21 FEB - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

In today’s patch, we pay our tribute and help you to pay YOUR tribute to the Life is Feudal Gods! We’re introducing a handy way to pay for your large private claim via new consumable item called God’s Coins. Private claims should now work way better for everyone!

The new, long-awaited Church of All Gods is also here for you to build! Be the first one to do it!
And of course, a good bunch of fixes, tweaks, and optimizations is also in this patch.

Speaking of Private Claims, we just want to explain how they should work now from the perspective of their size and payments:

If you do NOT have the premium subscription active:
•   You can have up to 100 tiles of a private claim. You will pay for its support with Crown Coins.
•   You can increase your private claim up to 250 tiles. You will have to pay for ALL your land with God’s Coins that can be purchased in our Premium Shop and consumed in order to be put to the Private Claim.

If you DO have the premium subscription active:
•   You can have up to 150 tiles of a private claim for FREE - no payment will be needed at all!

One of the most important changes in this version is that we’ve managed to find and fix the bug that was making JH raids almost useless, because nothing could be done on the enemy fief. We’ve fixed this bug and did some fine tuning to the original list of abilities that can be performed by attackers on the defenders’ fief during JH. During ANY normal JH, you will NOT need a “burning” lvl 3 outpost nearby to be able to do the things listed. You can see the full list  here (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zmX7IuBVZtTizZ9vPXHDQHDPKzoTMtRcReePLOreuCE/edit#gid=1131898481)

NOT 0.2.5 time yet. But it is time to go after the provinces! (0.20.10.1)
15 MAR @ 6:14PM - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

As it often happens we’ve stumbled upon some bugs in new systems that we have been developing for the LiF:MMO 0.2.5 update. This will forces us to delay its release for next week. The good news is, that this patch contains a lot of good fixes and effectively unlocks the province rush. IB totems now costs “only” 10 Gold Coins instead of 50 as it was before! Go grab some provinces to get taxes coming in and start generating a return on your expenses!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.20.10.1):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Instanced Battle Totem cost significantly reduced to only 10 Gold Coins (from 50)
•   All Jewelry can now be sold to the Crown
•   Added guilds JH schedule page in the guild dashboard that can be accessed by everyone to see when guilds will have active JHs
•   Added confirmation messages before the initiation of outpost upgrades to avoid accidental outpost upgrades
•   Updated Instanced Battle informational messages, who sees them and when
•   Enemies and everyone who does not have “Can build” access rights should no longer be able to initiate the upgrade of your outposts. Though they are still allowed to manage it and steal the production from it.
•   Fixed usability of **Improper Honey** recipe. It can be cooked in the kitchen now.

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed fief and objects access rules messed up after crossing server node borders
•   Fixed many issues that appeared upon reconnection and some server node crossing bugs.
•   Fixed commission calculation bugs in the Market interface
•   Fixed claim rules management for Trade Posts
•   Outpost max support points visual text should be correct now and show the actual amount of max support points that can be added to it
•   Gems should now drop properly when mining ores
•   Fixed proper skill calculations when not using an active premium subscription
•   Server node border crossings should not cause visual skill raise bugs anymore
•   Fixed the seeding and harvest of Cultural Onions bug
•   Both types of Grape harvests should work properly now

Update 0.2.5 is Out! (0.25.0.5)
22 MAR - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

Well, the title says it all - update 0.2.5 is here at last! We expect this update should make getting started and beginning your adventures much easier, adding more immersion and also unlocking majestic town patterns for architects! Make sure to read all the information in the patch notes below!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.0.5):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   You can now sacrifice your combat and crafting experience to the gods via idols and altars. This sacrifice will also add to your points in the rankings for the god you’ve sacrificed your XP to. If you happen to be in the top 100 players for the god when Makthrid elections start - you will get a blessing that will increase the speed of skill increases for the skills that current god governs!
•   You can now increase a fief with your guild monument and all fiefs that neighbor this fief. Fief increase will increase its size by 1 tile in all directions. This means that once you increase 2 neighboring fiefs you will remove the stripe of neutral tiles between them effectively connecting those two fiefs for your construction desires!
•   New type of outpost implemented - Military Outpost. These outposts can be used as Rally bind points and can be built on any unclaimed fief, no matter where the guild’s monument and its other fiefs are located. We plan to add NPC archers to these outposts in following patches.
•   Implemented climbing! If you approach terrain or objects that are too steep to traverse normally, your character will start climbing automatically. You need to make sure that you’re in a peaceful stance and facing the slope with your character. Works for the surfaces angled between 45 and 75 degrees. Anything vertical or close to be vertical cannot be climbed.
•   Siege ladders and siege platforms are implemented. Only these types of objects can be constructed, moved and dropped on enemy fiefs during JH. Combined with the new climbing system this should create more realistic looking raids and sieges! Siege ladders, siege platform and sapper charges can now be dropped on the ground without them turning into a bag the way as it was working before.
•   You can now use God’s Coins to pay for your monuments and outposts maintenance.
•   You can use God’s Coins to support your outposts (or any other guild outpost if you were given the right to) remotely via the Guild Monument ability.
•   Outpost and monument maintenance base price has been decreased (from 0.2 copper coins per tile per in-game day to 0.15)
•   Multipliers for higher level outposts and monuments have been significantly decreased:
Lvl 3 outpost and monument - multiplier changed from x10 to x8
Lvl 4 monument - multiplier changed from x24 to x16
•   Significantly boosted Natives’ loot. There's a much higher probability for them to drop unique loot items that can be sold to the Crown.
•   Added the Hour of Inspiration booster that can be bought in the Premium shop to get a temporary Inspired Work effect (abilities can be performed 20% faster)
•   Animals in stables, barns, and coops should no longer die for any reason unless they contract disease caused by the lack of hygiene (stables are dirty) or simply of an old age. There should be no random unexpected deaths to other reasons.
•   Plants will no longer lose their quality due to improper crop rotation
•   A month of the free Inspired Work boost from the Pioneer's amulet has passed. Pioneer’s amulets are no longer providing any special bonuses.
•   Added visually different textures for whitewood and amberwood logs

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed some rare server node crashes
•   Fixed a bug with per object rules overriding “can build” access for players making some abilities inaccessible. That should make it possible to upgrade some outposts that were not upgradable before.
•   Trading Post support points should now show correct values
•   Fixed Cultural Onion, both types of grapes, some grains and some vegetables that were not working correctly in some cases
•   Fixed Cultural flax harvested quantity
•   Weaver’s Toolkits can now be repaired
•   Fixed Thick leather recipes. Any Thick or Thin leather should be available in the simple recipes list.
•   Fixed a bug where you could become a student of your own school.
•   Brewed Honey should now be available in the kitchen cooking recipes

Fixes and Tweaks (Tome #2. Outposts) (0.25.3.1)
05.04.2019

We have determined that outposts should not completely replace the extraction of resources, but should simplify the gathering of regional items, or the gathering of resources that are difficult to reach in a particular area, such as sand and clay by increasing production rates for these resources.

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Any object that is placed outside of claimed areas on the Green (protectorate) zones decays, and can now be damaged and destroyed by anyone

•   Level 2: 40 Plant Fiber or 20 Mushrooms or 30 Berries

Military Outpost Archers and more Outpost Tweaks (0.25.6.1)
19 APR @ 1:32PM - LIFE IS FEUDAL (BOBIK)

With the current patch, we provide significant tweaks in order to make sieging actions using Military Outposts more adequate and logical. Oh, we’ve also added the first combat NPCs (archers) that will help you to protect your Military Outposts! We will be evaluating how these new NPCs work out and based on the results we might increase the NPC presence in the game even further (both natives and guards).

We’ve implemented a couple of siege mechanic tweaks to prevent proxy guild sieges and fix some other siege related imbalances.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.6.1):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Implemented archers in the Military Outposts. The amount of archers and their combat effectiveness depends on the number and quality of the slaves put into the Military Outpost. Archers are not designed to protect an outpost by themselves but they will provide a good addition to the live player-defenders firepower. Archers shoot only players that do not have “Can enter” access rights set to them - make sure to give these rights to your allies!
•   Implemented another protective measure for game client files. A full force protection system is planned in the next upcoming patches.
•   Fog is significantly reduced in certain types of weather.
•   "Claim Outpost" ability duration increased from 10 to 20 seconds.
•   "Stop Outpost Claiming" ability duration increased from 20 to 40 seconds.
•   "Claim Outpost" can now be used only by members of the guild that have initiated a Holy Judgment on this nearby outpost (the guild who made the targeted outpost vulnerable).
•   Military Outposts now give a LOT of property score to the guild owning them. This means any guild with a Military Outpost can expect to have at least Rank V.
•   Holy Judgment can now only be initiated on Military Outposts lvl 3 that can be placed anywhere or other types of lvl3 outposts that are neighboring to the owner’s Guild Monument
•   Your guild must have a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Monument in order to be able to initiate a Holy Judgment on outposts
•   Claiming ability cooldown is ignored on the outposts that are burning with Holy Judgment. That means that failed claiming attempts will not make these outposts unclaimable for the whole duration of the Holy Judgment.
•   NPC collisions are ignored during new construction and upgrades to buildings. This should no longer prevent the outposts and other buildings from being upgraded/constructed.
•   Amate-Maksha and Rob the Shoveler give significantly more points for the experience sacrifices to them
•   Updated Church and Wooden Gate models so they can no longer be climbed on
•   Added decorative shield premium decorations
•   Removed the possibility of getting polished gems while mining - only rough or raw gems can now be dropped while performing mining abilities
•   Removed regional granite from the game
•   Added a proper message if an outpost upgrade cooldown is active and if your outposts limit is reached
•   Added a proper message if trying to issue an IB while standing on your own province
•   Added Believer's Cooking Pot into Premium Shop
•   Removed doors on Trading Post outposts (now it is more similar to all the other outposts)
•   Tweaked the behavior of wild animals — now they should be slightly easier to tame and to kill
•   Switching between different trading posts is no longer available from the market
•   Added proper support of claim rules and unmovable objects' rules for all non-guild characters (as requested by players who wanted to give full access to their trading posts)
•   Changed behavior and attributes of most wild animals - all animals were slightly slowed down, damage was increased, HP were reduced:

Aurochs Bull: HP 250 -> 200, lays down at low HP;
Aurochs Cow: HP 180 -> 150, doesn't run away if you don't damage it;
Bear: HP didn't change (450), doesn't run away at low HP anymore;
Boar: HP 200 -> 120, lays down at low HP;
Deer: HP 200 -> 150, behavior didn't change;
Grouse: HP 15 -> 10, behavior didn't change;
Hare: HP 15 -> 10, behavior didn't change;
Hind: HP 120 -> 100, behavior didn't change;
Moose: HP 300 -> 180, behavior didn't change;
Mutton: HP didn't change (100), now attacks the character (!), lays down at low HP;
Sow: HP 80 -> 50, doesn't run away if you don't damage it;
Wild Horse: HP 180 -> 120, now attacks the character after receiving several hits on it, lays down at low HP;
Wolf: HP 150 -> 80, doesn't run away at low HP anymore;

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed item delivery system via trading posts
•   Slightly tuned lags compensation algorithm in a favor of non lagging players

•   Fixed the bug that resulted in unavailability of Slaughter button in coops, barns and stables
•   Fixed inability to jump into Trade post closed off section for male characters
•   Fixed gathering in Native Camps and Starting villages on Godenland - now you can properly gather on them
•   Added back the warning displayed when using Decorator's Kits
•   Fixed a bug that sometimes caused players to automatically switch from first-person view to third-person view

Combat and Siege Changes (0.25.9.0)
26.04.2019

In this current patch, we are releasing a new wave of combat and siege related tweaks. Let’s see how it goes!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.9.0):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Lvl 3 Outpost that has a Holy Judgment active will not only lose one level but will also be transferred completely to the guild that has successfully claimed it. It is done to give a chance for the defenders to strike back and capture the outpost.

---Combat patch---
•   Successful parry against a normal attack stuns attacker for 0.5 sec and removes 20 Soft Stamina
•   Slashing damage will be doubled now if you hit a body part with a slashing protection coefficient less than 0.09
•   If softStamina ends a character does not change its state to a Fatigued state. Instead, it receives the Exhausted effect (+sound) for 5 seconds. Under the Exhausted Effect you can't run, operate items, your speed decreases by 30% and you stay in the peaceful stance. You can't climb if you are exhausted and you will fall down if you get exhausted while climbing.
•   Stamina depletion rates depend on the ratio of your equipment weight to the critical weight that your character can carry and can scale between x0.6 to x1.35
•   New mechanics for wounds, bleeding and fracture calculations depends on a weapon’s coefficient and victim's armor effective value. Wounds and fractures inflicted by combos are not affected by this mechanic. There can be no wound or fracture if the inflicted damage was less than 10.
•   Tweaked melee and ranged weapon Fracture and Wound modifiers according to the new mechanics
•   Duration of all wounds and fractures regardless of body part now lasts for 30 mins
•   Duration of bleeding increased from 1 to 2 minutes, basic damage inflicted to softHP per second decreased from 0.05 to 0.03
•   The Treat abilities(Wounds, Fractures and Severe Injuries) now fully use luck(like other abilities) to decrease the duration of the rest effect by 20%
•   Treat Patient now restores from 20% of maximum hardHP and doesn’t require bandages anymore
•   Basic duration of wounds and fracture Bed Rest effect now depends on both the real skill level and bandage quality level and varies from 0.36 (level=30, q=30) to 0.15(level=100, q=100) of injury time left at the moment of the healing
•   Coward! and You are Mine! abilities changed detection mechanics from raycasting to sector-search. The closest non-Friendly player in the 5-degree sector will be marked. Maximum distance is 15 meters.
•   Accelerated effect bonus from Coward! decreased from 0.2 to 0.1
•   The fear effect works in two ways - it decreases shooting accuracy and gives a chance to fall down if the character runs. If the character falls down from Fear - Fear effect disappears. Skill level now affects only duration 15(60) to 25 (100) seconds
•   Coward! can be used against players that are not in a warstance. Coward! can be applied only on the character looking opposite side from the cryer.

•   Jewelry that is equipped on the player will now get durability hits with every ability used, successful melee blow and projectile shot (arrows, bolts, throwable, and trebuchet)
•   You can't invite a player to barter while they are in warstance. No more inconvenient trade invites!
•   Defensive Fence requires the Medium Warfare Kit and informs the player if he lacks this ingredient in his inventory
•   /stuck command can now be used if you’re in a bug-hole (always sliding) or while you’re mounted
•   The number of minor experience points that are gained from "Sacrifice" (support points) ability has decreased towards ~25,000 minor experience per 1 Gold Coin

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Holy Judgment fiefs now have equal ability rules as common JH fiefs. So everything you can do on fiefs during the JH can now be done during Holy Judgment too
•   Animal quality raise probability is fixed now and should be more adequate now
•   Fixed several issues with the Trade Post delivery feature
•   Several bug fixes related to the Private Claim placement in different circumstances
•   A bunch of internal code optimizations and bugfixes
•   Removed a couple more IB spawn points on some maps that would cause players to appear on those to be bugged
•   Fixed some object state updates that could lead to the incorrect visuals (for instance you saw lvl1 outpost, while in fact, it was lvl 2 outpost under upgrade).
•   Fixed a bug where in some situations the experience bar would not fill

Good day, Feudalists!
If you have been around during our last AMA, then you probably know already, that we planned to switch to a new F2P model, that would give even more opportunities for newcomers. And finally, we’re excited to announce that, starting today, every new member of our community shall receive a Ticket to Abella and a 3 days of Premium subscription. We hope that it will bring more new players to the adventures and journeys on Godenland. We also would like to take a moment and say a heartfelt thank you to all our veterans, who were supporting daily, from the begging of LIF history — you guys… are breathtaking. And we will do our best to develop LIF further, improve and extend Feudal experience for all our players!

This week’s patch has been heavily influenced by your suggestions from the last AMA session. Thanks to all the participants, we’ve gathered a decent amount of information to use in order to improve the experience our game brings to you.

Here’s the list of changes:

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.22.5):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Game mode switched to a new F2P model — each new user will receive 1 Ticket to Abella and a 3 days of Premium subscription to his Premium shop inventory after registration
•   Added a new object in the Starting Villages — Traveler’s Idol, which allows you to teleport to a guild monument (via Guest Code) or to another village. Each teleport has its’ own cooldown of 48 hours;
•   Knoolls will now randomly spawn in the game world. While you won’t be able to tame them, you can still benefit from such encounters — some folks say their treasures are valued by the Crown…;
•   Significantly reduced the time it takes to level up the skills after level 90
•   Increased the drop value of loot from natives in their villages
•   Randomized starting servers on Newbie world
•   Alchemist’s Outfit has been renamed to Herbalist’s Outfit. Required skill is now Herbalism lvl 60 (instead of Alchemy lvl 60)
•   Cook’s Outfit is now available on Farming lvl 60 (instead of Cooking lvl 60)
•   Engineer’s Outfit is now available on Construction lvl 60 (instead of Warfare Engineering lvl 60)
•   Outfits now grant bonus to every skill on the skill branch they’re used by (for example, Blacksmith’s Outfit now will give bonus not just to Forging, but also to Kilning, Armorsmithing and Weaponsmithing). They will now also grant an “Inspired Work” effect
•   Increased the production rate for most of the outposts
•   Significantly increased the chance of a quality raise for domestic animals and grown crops
•   Decreased the amount of time required to cast most of the abilities. Here’s the list of those that remained untouched.
•   Increased the default Trading Post container size to 150 stones;
•   Increased the amount of ammunition and potions that can be brought onto the Arena

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed the visual bug in Decorated Rags skins that caused the disappearance of a part of a leg on the female characters
•   Fixed the issue with being able to target objects through the walls while running. Opening containers and interacting with outpost totems through the walls should no longer be possible.
•   Fixed an incorrect amount of experience gained when hitting a training dummy with a ranged weapon
•   Fixed the outpost totems: they can no longer be pushed by placing a movable object near them or grant experience when being hit
•   Fixed the incorrect Sun’s position: now it should point exactly towards South at noon.

Patch Notes (0.25.23.0)
30 Jul @ 11:30am - Arrakis

Hello, Feudalists!

This week we happily continue with this streak of updates based on the feedback we gathered on AMA. Сurrent patch is focused mostly on your suggestions about farming and crafting.

First of all, we’ve added awaited Stonecutter’s and Breeder’s Outfits that we revealed in the devblog last week. Several important tweaks & fixes in this update are related to the crafting speed, farming nuances (such as horse training time and pigs pregnancy issues) and the auto-repeat for the alchemy crafting. Also, according to your numerous requests, we have significantly decreased resistance of the Palisade and several other wooden walls.

We have decided to make patch notes more informative, so from this point forward we will provide more detailed explanations of the tweaks, fixes and other changes we've made. Hope you like it!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.23.0):

New features and tweaks:
•   Added new working outfits for Hunting and Mining skill trees. Now, the two remaining skill branches have their outfits as well. As you may have noticed, the mechanics of working outfits were changed with the previous update. Our plan for the outfits was to slightly nerf the amount of bonus skill value they give while making them much more accessible.
•   Palisade walls and several other wooden walls have their resistance decreased from 400 to 150. We've received several reports that cost-effectiveness of a wooden wall is way too high compared to other wall types. As a solution, the price will remain unchanged, but the damage resistance of these fortifications will be much lower, which will make them easier to destroy. The resistances of other defensive walls remain unchanged for now
•   Reduced the time required to heat up items for smelting and brewing, which should now take half the time.
•   Reduced the maximum time of horse training from 300 seconds to 180 seconds
•   Alchemical craft can now be set to auto-repeat
•   Doubled the capacity of containers for food and water in all animal husbandry buildings, except Large Stables. We keep on with the craft updates to reduce the amount of time such mundane tasks take in favor of a proper PvE action.
•   Time consumption of abilities "Build primitive construction", "Build construction" and "Build complex construction" have been returned to their previous settings. Our intentions behind the abilities time upgrade were to speed up the PvE activities in general. Paving and building, however, affects PvP as well, which is why we've decided to take a slightly different approach with them.

Bug fixes and optimizations:
•   Pregnant pigs should now give birth before growing old
•   Outpost totems should now be placed correctly for every level of an outpost
•   Fixed (again) the inability to build or upgrade a Trading Post that could occur under certain circumstances
•   Fixed the speed of emotions' animations. They should no longer end prematurely
•   Fixed the lack of alchemical ingredients drop when slaughtering a domestic animal
•   Fixed a bug that allowed production of items with quality higher than 100

Patch Notes (0.25.24.0)
22 Aug @ 10:43am - Arrakis

Good day, Feudalists!

This week brings you a “Breeders’ Update” - a bunch of tweaks and fixes very much awaited by our dedicated cattleman and suggested by the community at the latest AMA session. You may expect rework of luck for warhorse training, an update of the graphical user interface for stables as well as other breeders’ buildings and more! Also, this update will include the much-awaited fix for the issue with the inability to select objects in certain areas of outposts. Check the details in the patch notes below:

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.24.0):

New Features and Tweaks:

•   Added water consumption level to Animal Husbandry GUI. Dung-o-meter now shows the exact amount of items to be received when cleaning the stables
Developer’s comment: this addition was needed for a while now to ease the understanding of the mechanics behind the Animal Lore skill. We plan on adjusting other interfaces as well to make them more informative, especially for the new players.

•   Decreased the time required to complete horse training
Developer’s comment: with the previous patch we’ve decreased the maximum time for warhorse training, but left out the actual time it takes to complete the training. We’ve caught up on that now.

•   Reworked Luck influence on Warhorse Training skill. Now, it will give a chance to have the training sped up by 20%.100 Warhorse Training gives a +10 Luck bonus when training a horse.
Developer’s comment: luck had no effect on Warhorse Training for a while now. We’ve decided to bring it up in line with other skills where luck gives a bonus to the time it takes to perform an ability.

•   Removed getting poisons from random events
Developer’s comment: we’ve decided that balance-wise giving such item through a random event is rather questionable.

•   Added new premium skins for Breeder’s and Stonecutter’s Outfits

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Optimized tunnel maintenance
•   Fixed a bug that prevented interactions with objects placed in certain areas of the outposts
•   Fixed Fief Fire’s disappearance when approaching an outpost
•   Fixed an issue with the horse age not being stored properly after using “Leave Horse” ability
•   Fixed an issue that prevented stables from being fully occupied by animals and loaded with supplies for them
•   Fixed a bug with durability calculation for items received in the result of a random event

Patch Notes (0.25.25.0)
Thu, 19 September 2019

Hello, Feudalists!
Our focus lately has been an investigation of the pesky problems that have been around and caused a lot of annoyance to you, our players, and to us as well. Finally, after some tough bug smashing, we are happy with the results and would like to share them with you.

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.25.0):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   Abilities “Rename” and “Manage object rights” were enabled for Sanctum of the Sleeper, Stonemason’s Workplace, Ore Washer and Big Tanning Tub
Developer’s comment: this is more of a bugfix, really. The intention was to give control over all buildings that have abilities assigned to them
•   “Repair” ability is now available for Idols
Developer’s comment: while this is a minor change, it’s a part of a bigger fix
•   New premium Healer’s Standard has been added

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Fixed the cause of recent server stability issues
•   Fixed splitting items in stacks controller — you no longer need to hit Enter after inputting the number of items in the stack manually to confirm the change before pressing OK
•   Fixed the bug that prevented interactions with Hardwood/Softwood logs and Siege ladders in certain situations
•   Fixed the Outpost Totem model scaling. That should prevent the ability to interact with the totem while standing on a second floor of Military Outposts
•   Fixed auto sorting for premium chests
•   Fixed the bug that prevented sacrificing young animals to Kallente

Trials by the World (0.25.29.0)
28.11.2019

Hello, Feudalists!

Today, we’re bringing you some experimental changes. We want to see how well are they going to bode into the current gameplay meta before settling on on them for good. This means we’re gonna need your feedback to see how you feel about those changes!

And now, for the full list of updates:

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.29.0):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   /stuck command has been disabled
•   Developer’s comment: With the climbing system implemented, it seems that this command gives more abusing power than it does help in-game. We want to see whether it’s worth it to keep it in the game or not.
•   Only one shield can be equipped by a player
•   Developer’s comment: The double-tower-shield turtling is something that, in our opinion, favors one gameplay style over the others. We intend to fix that with this change.
•   Damage resist of wooden walls has been decreased from 150 to 130
•   Blast damage from a sapper charge has been increased
•   Developer’s comment: Wooden walls should not provide such strong protection against sapper charges, as they do now. Those updates will work in pair to fix that.
•   An NPC to commemorate Dannara Stella has been added to Zathum-Zar starting village
•   Developer’s comment: We wrote about the loss of our player a couple of dev blogs back. Now we’re bringing her to the game as an NPC, so that her friends could have a way to remember her any time they log in.

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Lag compensation system has been tweaked
o   Developer’s comment: We’re aiming to bring a more enjoyable in-game combat with this change, so let us know how it works for you
•   Added ability to mass-produce to most of the crafting recipes
•   Updated translations for the following languages:
   o   Czech
   o   German
   o   Hungarian
   o   Italian
   o   Polish
   o   Portuguese

Patch Notes (0.25.30.0)
Hello, Feudalists!

After a considerate discussion based on your feedback, we’re bringing changes to the last update. Thank you all for providing us with detailed information on how these modifications influenced your gameplay!

Patch Notes (ver. 0.25.30.0):

New Features and Tweaks:
•   /stuck command is available, but with modifications that should restrict its usage to the cases where it is actually needed
o   Developer’s comment: we’re hoping that now /stuck will get you out of a situation where your character cannot move while not having any effect outside of such cases.
•   Destroying a monument now starts a week-long cooldown on the fief where it was placed before. Any monuments’ placement is forbidden there while the timer is active
o   Developer’s comment: a lot of complaints were based upon the fact that some guilds are able to bring down the monument and rebuild it again to avoid the Judgement Hours. Now, a destroyed monument will mean a lost fief — until you can take it back. And to clarify: this cooldown does not trigger when building an outpost in said fief.
•   A fief won’t get transferred as a result of a lost IB if it has been captured by another guild before the battle starts
o   Developer’s comment: the previous behavior for this situation was not intended by us. This is more of a fix, really.
•   Christmas decorations were added to the trader carts and to all villages
o   Developer’s comment: and some of them might have something to say.

Bug Fixes and Optimizations:
•   Implemented a system that should prevent arenas’ failure to start
