Plugin update: Plugin version NGP7: 0.60.5060

v1.53.0 (2025-01-26)

What's new in RallySimFans (RSF):
- New: A new RSFLauncher option to "Hide 'Get Ready Mulligatawny' message". This is useful when RBRHUD welcome message is also enabled because then you won't see two similar start welcome messages at a start line.
- New: A handful of new RSF "racing metrics" to be used in RBRHUD overlays.
- New: RBRHUD 0.3.3.8 plugin by Towerbrah with new assets (gauges/mud textures/overlays). Please see below for more information.
- New: RBRHUD. A new dynamic car mud texture feature improves how a car looks when it gets dirty (based on a stage conditions).
- New: RBRHUD. A new RBRHUD delta timer overlay. This is a match made in heaven for all hotlappers.
- New: OpenRBRVR 2.0.0 by Detegr/TorttuP. Several bug fixes and a new multiview VR rendering support to improve FPS performance (improves VR framerate a lot by utilizing an advanced GPU rendering capabilities). Please see below for more information.
- New: Several new and updated maps. And handful of old BTB maps with an improved FPS performance, features and weather options. Please see below for more information.
- Improved: RSFLauncher Portuguese translation updated by Ricardo V. Soares and MiguelBernardo7.
- Improved: RSFLauncher Indonesian translation updated by Mashironn.
- Fixed: Fixed an issue with "Loading HQ" background image and text color in some VR setups.
- Fixed: Other bug fixes here and there as usual.

RBRHUD 0.3.3.8 by Towerbrah:
- Added delta timer collection, storage and telemetry data. Use hotlap overlays to try this out.
- Some extra options are available in the RBRHUD in-game menu (press F4 key when a car is on stage).
- Added Dynamic weather and surface dependent mud textures. Originally RBR used the same mud texture for all weather types and surface types which does not look good, but now it's possible to load these weather and surface condition specific textures for improved visuals.
- Added various new telemetry data types and a new drawable type.
- Added automatic overlay hiding when using Freeze Frame function.

RBRHUD mud textures:
- Added dynamic mud textures by Cubits for: Aston Martin Vantage RGT, BMW M1, BMW M3 E30, Peugeot 106, Porsche 911 GT3RS, Skoda 130RS.

RBRHUD gauges:
- Improved interior textures for Audi 200, Quattro A1, A2 by Bledo22.
- New and converted gauge variants for Impreza 2003 (originally by voc), Porsche RGT 2007 and 2010, 911SC by XMALMX (Can be applied in the F4 menu gauges tab).

RBRHUD overlays:
- New WRC style overlay elements by Mashironn.
- New RallyClean overlays and overlay elements by Ekiso.
- New Hotlap overlays with delta timers for hotlapping.
- New Digidash_RBR overlay element by Mashironn in the original RBR Digidash style. Use RSFLauncher.Cockpit&Dashboard.Digidash=Disabled option to hide the original legacy RBR digidash and use F4 key on a stage to enable the new RBRHUD digidash overlay.
- New BeamNG style damage Overlay Elements.
- Updates and tweaks to default race overlays.
- Press F4 key while a car is on stage to show and hide new custom overlay widgets. You can even use a mouse to move an overlay widget to a specific screen location.
- Please see the RBRHUD overlay tutorial video:

OpenRBRVR 2.0.1 by Detegr/TorttuP:
- Implement multiview rendering. Reduces CPU load significantly and fixes some rendering issues like some shadows on BTB stages. Increases the GPU load a little.
- Use 3D scene as background when the main menu is active.
- Make debug button toggle between debug modes.
- Fix a rendering bug where the skybox was rendered in different colors for different eyes.
- Fix a small logic issue when parsing openRBRVR.toml.
- Fix a bug that caused main menu to render in a funny way when the VR desktop view was set to bonnet cam.
- Add configuration parameters to adjust whether the VR view should automatically recenter at the start of a VR session or at the start of each stage.

New maps:
- 515-Nujiang 72 Turns R by Simrally CN Team. The Simrally CN Team made a wondeful debut in the previous Christmas Edition RSF release (make sure to check out Bayanbulak-Pegasus2 stage in RBR and the inspiration source Pegasus2 rally movie in Netflix). Now the group is back with yet another wonderful stage release. If the start of the Bayanbulak-Pegasus2 was a breath taking then the end of and various mountain side twisted turns in Nujiang 72 Turns are even more breath taking, especially in VR if you have agoraphobia and suffer from vertigo. You have been warned!
- 518-Ponteareas 2008 by Zetta. A new name in RBR stage author list. He is another testimony of how the skill set of new RBR map authors is better than ever in RBR. Difficult to believe this is his first RBR stage. Please see https://tracksbuilderspain.wixsite.com/home/zetta web page for more details.
- 532-Wythop by Edd Hartley. Edd is also a new name in RBR map authoring list and he certainly seems to know what all RBR rally fans have been dreaming on all these years. RAC is not just three random letters, it is the first rally Richard Burns himself ever drove. All British and RAC rally fans recognize the name Wythop and now we all can try to experience the same Richard felt when he drove this stage for the first time. See www.youtube.com/@eddhartleysimstuff for more information.

Improved BTB maps to support additional RBR features and FPS performance:
- All these maps now support different weather options, movable collision objects, better framerate performance even in VR, replay cameras and so on.
- The previous Christmas Edition RSF release was the first time we released similar optimized BTB maps. This RSF release pushes out more of these improved BTB maps. People doing these improved BTB conversions does a great job to highlight the vision of the original BTB map authors. Often the non-improved BTB map version is a pain to run in VR, but these improved versions are easy cases for VR headsets.
- A special thanks to aesthetic_sofa. Without his RBR passion, hard work and expertise in RBR and Blender, none of this would have been possible.
- Please note, if you have made custom pacenotes for these stages then you need to copy those MyPacenote map files from "Blyfoten BTB" to "Blyfoten" folder in plugins/ngpcarmenu/MyPacenotes/ folder location.

Please visit www.rallysimfans.hu website to download the latest RallySimFans INSTALLER application to update your existing RBR/RSF installation.
This time existing RSF users don't have to download a torrent, all you need to do is to run the latest RallySimFans Installer application and choosing "Update Existing Installation" option.
A fresh new RSF installation still needs the torrent download package as a basis to run the installer app.
Please see more detailed instructions in www.rallysimfans.hu Downloads page.
