dcs.log is filled with TACVIEW.DLL INFO type of log
« on: January 08, 2020, 09:15:24 PM »
Hi, I have tacview running on a DCS running headless. Is it possible to change verbose level of the Tacview entries to dcs.log so that INFO would be omitted? Or is there a reason why it fills the log like that and what I have missed?

Of course. It's in the mail. It would be great to have option to disable all INFO and still show ERROR, WARNING messages.

I didn't receive anything yet. I was going to check your profiling period. Default is 600 (seconds). If yours is set to 0 for some reason it could cause the issue you are describing.

TACVIEW.DLL: Config={bookmarkShortcut=0, clientTelemetryPassword="", compressionLevel=0, dataRecordingEnabled=1, debugModeEnabled=1, hostTelemetryPassword="",
playbackDelay=0, profilingPeriod=600, realTimeTelemetryPort=42674, recordClientsSessionsEnabled=0, remoteControlPassword="", remoteControlPort=42675}

Sorry to hear that, I can send it again when Im back at computer. But now that you mentioned profilingPeriod=600. I had adjusted it not realizing what it did, well it's obvious now. I was trying to mitigate the 10min delay and felt that the playbackdelay setting didn't change anything. But with most recent version and cprrect settings everything works as it should.

Thank you
