Ah the ruins are nice. Previously when a tank shot at a building, you had a lot of pyrotechnics and nice exploding effects, but the building stayed intact. I saw this in your "Flames and Fire" Youtube Second Front video. Now this is more realistic if I assume correctly that you can reduce a two-story building into a ruined version (fingers-crossed).

sorry for answering late.
a lot of things can be damaged. nevertheless the line of sight cannot be changed.
However, the degree of visual impairment can rise and fall.
It can also change the movement costs of the site. For the flaw of the static line of sight we get very long lines of sight of up to 50 fields.
It would not be perfomant to calculate these during the game. And that only because maybe a floor collapses and some new lines of sight appear.
most games end up with short sightlines of up to 15 fields. On a man to man fight this makes sense. I would like to know before what
I will see when an AI tank thinks about where it goes.

Impressive :thumbsup

Line of sight calculations can be critical to convince a player of realism and depth, however it can come at a considerable CPU cost.

Can the fox holes be used for cover? Do they act as obstacles?
