The Force of JYSKELAND is equiped with modern RU Tanks and helicopters. Next garrison is in the Town of NORBURG 30 Km to the East. In NORBURG a mechanized Regiment is stationed. After blocking Satellites, JYSKELAND do the same to our Satellites, so we only can do a ground recce.

Situation:
 
   Enemy:
   JYSKELAND has a mechanised Regiment in NORBURG and some light Elements in our Landing Zone. RED is not preapared for our attack, but is able to move equivalent troops immediately to our Landing Zone
 
   Own:
   Elements of 11th Airborne (callsign EAGLE) are inbound to take MARS first.
   Parts of Taskforce EXCALIBUR, 1 Tank Platoons, Recce and Marines, are already landed, an other Tank Platoon and a Mech Inf. Platoon in on the way to shore.
 
BG CO's Intent:
   
   Taskforce EXCALIBUR is to build up a Bridgehead at the langing zone and push EAST to get in contact to EAGLE and attack along Road 66 to Block RED Reserves.
   Therefor 2C first opens and clears the Corridor SWORD and takes position in JUPITER. Be prepared to push to Obj URANUS, to allow 1C and 3C follow to you, Recce Plt will be on your right.
          If URANUS is clear, attack MARS and keep in contact with parts of 11th Airborn Division . Push to Obj and hold it.

   2 C is to:
           - open the Corridor SWORD
           - Take die Objekts JUPITER; URANUS and MARS
           - Take and hold Objekt and block Enemy Reserves

We reach Uranus after dealing with some enemy PCs


While clearing the woods to the southeast of Uranus, we have close encounters of the chopper kind



ICM, run away!


The enemy infantry give me more trouble than I expect, so I pass by them and make it to Mars. Our M88 gets ambushed and immobilized by enemy PCs, but the supply truck and the medic vehicle get through by threading their way through minefields (all 3 of these vehicles spawned in after the mission start).




After a long flanking maneuver, we waited for the smoke to land
