We'll continue the campaign started last Wednesday so this will give enough time to Mitra to prepare the division you'll command in the campaign.

That division will be your own personal division that you will use when you can play.

Part of the casualties you'll suffer in the battle will be reintegrated and reinforcements will join your division as the campaign go on.

Division assignment will be closed at the end of tomorrow; casual players will receive a brigade under a human or AI formations.

A fan of my GPU is defect. Replacement isnt available here and has to be shipped from china.

After the unsure result of first clash the forces of French retreated to a new defensive line waiting for reinforcements. The Allied have to press ahead and break the new line before can become too strong

The previous division assignment is still valid

As CiC I stayed most of the time at Pictons position in the area of the southern objective (fort) on the very left allied wing.

Therefore dispatches from the other commanders probably didnt reach me.

After pulling back Girard´s formation by Steinmetz and Sligh´s cavalry, I detached the closing rearguard of von Schmeling´s squadrons and ordered Vandeleur with Sligh´s Bde to move between Steinmetz and Mitra´s Brunswick division. This wasnt executed properly by the AI. I missed to better disengage manually before the redeployment, so our right wing mostly remained without cavalry support.
On the other hand Sligh´s squadrons fought against a part of the french cavalry, which had more squadrons on their disposal until von Schmeling´s horses arrived.

After a change of the early planning due an obvious opportunity which led to an attack of the allied left wing with Picton´s and Steinmetz´divisions supported by the Cav Bde, the allied right wing under Mitra and Pretoria was meant to only probe to the gap in between the 2 objectives rather than putting pressure on the northern objective. Perhaps the french cavarly was able to strongly intercept advancing allied infantry bataillons, which regrettably had no cavalry coverage for themselves.

At least with our offensive we gained a certain tactical victory by winning more ground and causing higher casualties to the french.
