SimWorks Studios announcement 21 June 19

"We'd like to inform our customers that SWS support and other comms will be completely offline from Wednesday June 26th until Monday, July 1st. Limited support, pertaining mostly to installation will be available between July 1-15. The reasons for this lack of comms are personal as well as shipping the computers to a new base.

The development team working on the T-37 is continuing its independently of this and we're happy to say that the to-do list has shrunk a lot and we'll soon enter our final testing phase.

Modelling for Vol. 2 of the Nimitz class is almost complete and the last piece of the puzzle is the hangar, which is very different for Vinson & Abe. Some basic textures are in place for the new parts and new shadow bakes are being created.

We are also redoing the way dirt is drawn on the deck to improve our workflow and the deck's look. Finally, a feasibility study is being made on porting the Nimitz class over to PBR. A test will be made to decide whether the end result, memory use and potential performance cost is acceptable."
