Hotfix Patch: V.2.4.2 is live now!
Tue, 21 February 2023

Hello Adventurers,

We've just released hotfix 2.4.2.

We would like to thank you for constant support, bug reports and feedbacks - that helped as a lot in preparing this hotfix!

Network synchronization of all constructions in co-op sessions is now changed. This will result in smaller performance drops when moving around bases full of player-built structures

Players should be now able to finish building the Mud Wall, even if it was placed on an uneven terrain
3 floor limit for custom constructions should be now applied properly
Building the footbridge simultaneously with another player should not lead a crash
Players should no longer be able to stick their heads through the tree while on a Tree House
Climbing place is now better aligned with the Tree House Platforms
Tree Platform ghosts should now have proper collisions
Player who drowned while holding heavy object should not respawn with that object
Vsync setting now remains unchanged after restarting the game
Player no longer has to view all versions of construction to have it marked as read in Notebook
Human AI no longer randomly stop following player
Footbridge lenght limit should now be applied properly

Stay sane on the treetops!
Creepy Jar Team

New roadmap!
Wed, 8 March 2023

Hey Adventurers,

Thank you for your input in the Pre Update Beta, the What should we add to Green Hell? questionnaire and the steady flow of suggestions on Steam forums, Discord, social media channels and emails! We also wanted to give a special shoutout to all the players who showed us their adventures in the jungle on streams, videos and screenshots.

We’ve collected all your feedback together, confronted it with our plans for the further development of the game and poof! We are very proud to reveal to you our plans for Green Hell!

What's brewing:
Storage & Transportation: because a bigger base needs a bigger amount of resources, and more storage places,
Combat Update: because a bigger base leads to a bigger number of uninvited Tribe members. Prepare for their visit, because they WILL be prepared for you.
New Animals: the more the merrier!

Stay sane while planning your road ahead in the jungle,
Creepy Jar Team

Storage & Transportation Update is out now!
Mon, August 28, 2023

Dear Adventurers!
The Storage & Transportation Update is officially live and available for free for all Steam players!

As many of Green Hell’s most experienced players know, efficiency is of the utmost importance if you want to survive in the Amazon jungle. To stay efficient, your base needs perfect space management which improves the process of gathering the necessary food supplies or materials. In addition, every trip across the rainforest puts you in untold danger, so why make more trips than is needed?

Storage and Transportation patch will help you with that, so just check out what's new:

Sled
A great tool for transporting heavy objects. What’s more, you can put up to two different types of Heavy Objects in one Sled.

We know how much players like to build vast and complex bases. Resources near the base may quickly run out and you have to go deeper and deeper into the jungle for materials. We decided to speed up material transport by adding sleds, to help our players spend more time building and less time running around for materials.

Elevator
Treehouse or multi-story villa, the elevator is the new easier way of transporting heavy resources up and down.

In the last building update, we added new construction to build a treehouse. We noticed that transporting a large amount of materials to the upper floors using a ladder is inconvenient, so we decided to add a new construction - an elevator.
