This scenario is a simulation and does not have any political message.



Mission Summary :
Finnish Mechanized Armor Company plus defends against 3 companies of Spanish  armor, IFV’s, and Infantry.

Map





SITUATION:

a) Enemy:

Colbrooks (Tercios) Spanish forces consisting of a company of armor, company of IFV’s, and a company of infantry (ranger force equivalent) are attacking south in sector. They have heavy artillery, and no air support.


b) Own:A Company plus consisting of 2 platoons of CV90-30FI, 2 platoons Leo 2A4, 1 platoon Leo 2E, 1 platoon Fuchs 1A6, one platoon unimog troop trucks, CO Leo 2E, and XO CV90-30FI.


c) Attachments: None.


MISSION:

Conduct defensive operations in sector to maintain control of all objective locations.
 


EXECUTION:

Intent: Defend in sector to prevent occupation by Spanish forces of objectives and destroy any enemy forces encountered in sector.

Well. - If it's possible. I'm going to CO this.


How am I supposed to defend with cv9030:s  at open ground? o.O  (especially against pizarros even Leos are easier to kill with cv:s  xD )

I need to know what weapons do troops carry and I need to get this map that I can make battle plan on this.

Asid has it. The briefing has all the info on it to include missile teams, machine gun teams, and rpg selections for all units.

I hope the CO makes a detailed plan, users the resources well, and vehicle commanders make the best use of their vehicles with minimum causalities.

I don't yet have anything truly. I had change to briefly take look at the surroundings before DOW, that took most of my Saturday and now Im about to go to do chores till evening...  and hopefully have hour or two to focus making plan before organizing Havoc training session... where I have feeling that not many will come.

And about the minimum casualties... I seriously doubt it. What I hope to happen.. is entire different thing of what will actually happen. I have long time ago found out that AI is superior at shooting on multiplayer. So... will see how it goes.   

I'm hoping to be able to use ambushing tactics for minimal losses, and effective scouting with CV9030:s    to know when ambushes should be made to happen.

I'm sorry. Guys....

Something happened today a while ago..

and

 I don't think I can CO this. i'm not usual myself today and it makes no sense for me to CO as I don't have any will to even attempt successful mission. And barely any interest to play either. 

I will try to do havoc but I give no promises how it will go.

Lumi, coming from a friend. Please go talk to a professional such as a psychologists or some other professional. Nothing in this world is worth taking your life over friend.

For those that played. It would have been nice to see all of you at the end. ;) It was great to watch on the stream from work. ;D It was a good plan. Maybe some tweaks and there would have been less losses :(. You all did well.

If everyone liked it, we can do it again in the future. I plan to make more on that map style, and exact map.

I am bummed :( that I was not in game to take orders from CO Asid. It was a great day with the leader at the helm. Also wish I would have been there with Rhyfel and Apocalypse. It sounded very tactical, well thought out, well managed, and a session style I like to see.  8)

PS Cougar...  I don't like that these missions or sides in missions are named by player names. Such as Colebrook, Asid or Lumi.  It just feels wrong.

Other than that I liked mission. It was very nice and terrain was... interesting.

Rhyfel and Apocalypse were great addition to mission and I learned very useful things from them for future CO:ing.

Such as reason why there are EA areas, and easy way to mark suspected enemy routes to map.

As for my part. Use of missile teams could been timed different. They were engaged by artillery way too soon. So maybe tactically used those later to relieve pressure from tanks would been better, and less likely for them to get artillery at.

Good misison Cougar, i had a lot of fun killing those leopards while Beef was distracting them with coax.
Just one suggestion,change the objectives capture condition to just outnumer the enemy, if not we need to clear house by house all the objectives and thats a lot of job.
