1.0 Release

Hi all,

Nothing new this week, since there were no critical or game-breaking bugs in the previous build. Since I've more or less added everything I had planned to add in to the game at the start of this project - and then some - this means that the July 27 build will now serve as the official 1.0 release. For the next two weeks, On The Western Front will be at an all-time high release discount of 35%.

This does not mean I will no longer support this game. Balancing, bug-fixing, and small quality-of-life updates are still on the table, so if anything bothers you feel free to point it out in the discussion forums. It's just that as the game has grown and I've added to it, it's become increasingly daunting to add even relatively small new features to it. So since the game is now in a stable state and contains pretty much everything I laid out in my roadmap, it's as good a time as any to release the game for good.

I appreciate everyone who has tried this game out and provided feedback over the years. This game isn't perfect and never will be, but has become far more than I thought it would have thanks to all of you who took a chance on my crazy idea. The time and energy you've spent supporting this project has meant more to me than you can ever know. It has been my pleasure interacting with you all and implementing your suggestions. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who tried this game out in Early Access.
