Avro Vulcan XM607's Falklands Most Daring Raid
« on: October 15, 2018, 04:08:50 PM »

The daring Vulcan bombing raid on Port Stanley during the Falklands War

These RAF guys piloted those bombers to extreme distance, learned air refueling in a matter of days and hit their targets in the dark. They were willing to fly on what was likely to be a suicide mission, making their way through bad weather, limited fuel, an antiquated computer system and a five pound pocket calculator from Swatham market.

A truly absorbing 47 minute documentary.
