Unable to open file after DCS crash
« on: May 05, 2019, 11:45:00 PM »
Hi all

after a crash of DCS, my .acmi is not readable by Tacview (1.7.6). Is there a way to fix it (the file) or any other solution ?

thanks

Hi TAG,

Since .acmi files are saved in zip format by default, when DCS crashes Tacview is unable to open the file at all.

If DCS crashes often for you, you may choose to amend Tacview Settings like this: Options -> Special -> Tacview -> Compression Level -> Not Compressed

This will make your .acmi files larger but you'll be able to load them even if DCS crashes.

Let me know how it goes!
