•   [NEW] Enable GDI Caching option now exposed in TPM preferences (previously a hidden option).
•   [FIXED] General TPM cosmetic changes to help support non-standard (>100%) Windows font-scaling.

V1.5.1.1 (public release for all platforms)

All installers updated to v1.5.1.1, which includes, among other things, support for P3D v4.5 hotfix 2 (4.5.13.32097).

Note that ALL flavors of the Superbug and TacPack have been updated except for 1.2.1.1 (legacy Superbug without TacPack). See previous post in this topic for a complete list of 1.5.1.1 specific changes/additions.

V1.5.1.1 (initial release 11/6/19. Updated 11/28/19. Public release for all platforms) Updated

All 1.5.1.1 Superbug and TacPack installers updated on 11/28/19 in order to address minor issues with Superbug avionics and ACM/TPM font scaling.

This update was a stealth build as no version numbers were updated, however you may want to grab them if your installer creation dates are prior to Nov 27th, 2019.

"[....]Tim is actively working on everything from enhanced networking (some of which is based on JoinFS source code itself, which we've licensed), to AI friendlies and enemies are all going to find their way into the TacPack. In addition, our friends Motus, Bovsam and others are pooling our resources to try to get a full-blown mission editor and campaign engine talking to the TacPack. It's going to take more time, but we're starting to see some great progress, particularly with AI. AI is especially difficult because you can't really leverage anything in the SDK to drive the flight models, much less tactics. It all has to be done from scratch.

It's coming, but it won't be tomorrow:) "

•   [NEW] Finish ACMI2 exporter, remove old ACMI, rename ACMI2->ACMI
•   [NEW] Turn Inhibit[DebrisObjects|DeadAircraftEffects|DamagedAircraftEffects] into MP host enforced options (via TPM Flight Options pane).
•   [FIX] TPM carrier and tanker numeric input fields should now properly update AFTER leaving the fields (e.g. pressing tab), rather than updating in real time, which was causing all sorts of laggy and annoying issues trying to input values in the last TPM.

With positivity comes results. I know you didn't ask, but when people act conscientiously I feel motivated to respond. We are actually shooting for mid November for v5 support. Chris is taking a month off work starting in October to get it done. Tim is also back to working on aggressor AI and we plan to include a first draft of "Bob", the AI madman, for your amusement. Bob will shoot enemies, Bob will shoot friendlies, and Bob will even shoot himself!

New TacPack/Superbug 1.6.0.3 Installers

New TacPack/Superbug 1.6.0.3 Installers have been released for P3D v5 (x64) with support through P3D 5.3 Hotfix 2 (5.3.17.28160). Please remember that if you ever upgrade P3D beyond the last version the TacPack supports, you will NOT be able to run the TacPack or Superbug until support is available. The gap between the last version of the TacPack (1.6.0.2 with support for P3D 5.3.15.28131) and this version 1.6.0.3 with support for P3D 5.3.17.28160 took almost 3 months. Please keep that in mind before upgrading P3D!

This update may be downloaded from your customer portal. Please remember that all 1.6 updates for TacPack/Superbug require that product maintenance is current.
