KA350i Version 1.0.90 V1.1 RC2
Thu March 31, 2020

From the developers:

Testing and Feedback Team,

A new beta of version 1.0.90 now available.

We intend for this version to be the final version of the product prior to the 1.1 (SP1) release. We've included a few fixes from the last builds in this iteration. The unreleased versions of TrueGlass and RealLight will be made official before the public SP1 release, as well, so the message will cease.

We are looking only for showstopping issues. This means CTDs, unflyable routes, and issues preventing standard usage of the aircraft. We may include (very) small fixes to other areas if needed, but if the risk of introducing an unknown bug in the process exists, we won't.

Thank you all for your help testing and we look forward to hearing your feedback on the final pre-release build!

Collin Biedenkapp,
Technical Director

KA350i Version 1.1 Official RC3 (SP1)
Thu March 31, 2020

From the developers:

Testing and Feedback Team,

The release candidate of version 1.1 (SP1) is available.

The version numbers, installers, and packages have been updated to reflect 1.1. We do not anticipate another build prior to the public release of this build. If there are any showstopping bugs such as CTDs, unflyable routes, or completely inoperable systems, we will hold the release to fix them.

The TrueGlass and RealLight installers have been updated (and made public), so the unreleased version message will no longer appear. Thank you all for your patience, support, and testing. We need you to take a look over this just one more time.

I saw the announcement this week of prepar3d v5 with release next week.  I was initially going to ignore this version with Fs 2020 being in alpha.  Saw a thread on fs elite that was documenting the response from all the third party devs on whether there will be paid upgrades to p3d v5 and it seems most of them are offering free p3d v5 upgrades.  It seems that v5 isn’t that radically of a change like v4 was so many addons will work for both v4 and v5.

If this trend for p3d v5 continues, I may actually get it.  Might be worth it to have DX12 and true sky in p3d if I don’t have to pay to have all my addons upgraded.

It seems that if it is a complex addon which operates outside of P3D, like Q400 and Milviz advanced series then there could be more work involved in making them compatible with P3DV5.

I am not into spending lots of money again  :Wag finger
