UGCX (www.fs2crew.com) -- Where we stand - All Read!!!
21 September

From the dev:

"As you know, Ultimate Ground Crew X was released a few days ago after a long development cycle... I know, understatement of the year :-)

If you haven't downloaded UGCX yet, it's available at www.fs2crew.com

If you've ever owned an FS2Crew product before in your life (which is basically everyone who owns FSX and P3D), you are entitled to 5 euros off by using the coupon code: PUSHBACK

Now to talk about the fun stuff... the release itself :-)

The release has gone exceptionally smooth for a product this complex and sophisticated where we're trying to make 1000 different airplanes work at a 1000 different airports.

Indeed, UGCX is by far the most complicated product we've ever done.

Some people think we can just press a button and these addons can be created in a day... well, I wish it were that easy :-)

Pushing around airplanes and making animated ramp agents in FSX and P3D V4 who you can control via Voice or Menu Control in 4 different languages is no simple task.

Regardless, the feedback we've received has been very positive all around and we appreciate the words of encouragement we've received in our support forum :-)

I know some people didn't like our Promo video, but there's a million people out there, you're never going to make everyone happy :-) It's the internet after all. Remember there are people out there who didn't like Top Gun.... so just remember that :-)

However, this is not the end - far from it. We have a big roadmap in front of us, and now our job is to start the process of implementing the features on the roadmap.

If you're interested in the current features set, it's all spelled out on product page and the manuals are publicly available on our Manuals web page.

In any product this complex, there are always a few issues that are discovered post release (i.e., slow scenery indexing times if you have a ton of scenery and an odd speech recognition issue).

We're working on those issues now and we expect to release a Service Update shortly.

Again, thank you for supporting UGCX ;-) It is appreciated :-)

And if you're not currently in the UGCX community, we look forward to having you on board soon.

We listen to our users and we aim to offer the friendliest support in the business, so if you have any feature requests, by all means post them in our forum!

Cheers,
-The FS2Crew and UGCX Team"

NOTAM: UGCX UPDATED TO V1.2
Sat 28 Sept 2019

VERY VERY IMPORTANT!
UNINSTALL VERSION 1.X BEFORE INSTALLING VERSION 1.2!!!!

V1.2 is built into the main installer only!  There is no stand-alone updater!

To obtain Version 1.2, login to your FS2Crew account and click "Completed Orders".
1. Re-download
2. Re-install
3. Re-activate

V1.2 Change Log
•   Fixed speech recognition error some users experienced.
•   Potential fix for users using SimStarter.
•   Dramatically improved scenery indexing times.
•   Restricted voice commands so they can only be triggered while on ground while a UGCX service is running.
•   Fixed pin insertion on engine startup sequences.
•   Added ability to read 4-digits code instead of only 2 digits on Regional sound pack INI.  This allows us to offer more refined regional accents.  In V1.1, major airports in Quebec, Canada, will now use French rather than English.
•   Initial 3rd party SDK support.  If you wish to integrate your addon with UGCX, please send FS2Crew an Support Ticket.
•   Replaced repetitive "Braking" commands by using the default TOGGLE PUSHBACK command (pushback) only on PMDG 747/777 models. This only happens on pushback not towing at this point.
•   Fixed random 30 degree when selecting engine startup by intercom.

Note:
V1.1 had an error and was quickly replaced by the dev to V1.2

Special NOTAM: UGCX UPDATED TO V2.0
30 MAY 2020

How to install the latest Version!

IMPORTANT!

If you want to keep your custom made AIRCRAFT PROFILES and AIRPORT PROFILES:

Prior to installing the latest version, manually backup the AIRCRAFT and AIRPORT Profiles folders located here:

C:\Users\***Your user name***\AppData\Roaming\Ultimate Ground Crew X

You do NOT need to uninstall the previous prior to installing the latest version!

Important:

Version V2.0 is an REQUIRED UPDATE.  UGCX will not function without it.  UGCX will notify you that an update is available.

V2.0 Change Log
Date: 30 May 2020

New Features and Changes:

•   Pushback support for the Majestic Dash 8 and an additional pushback option for the PMDGs called the FREEZE METHOD.  This new option is available in “Aircraft Profile” menu.   With this method enabled, UGCX will move the aircraft by essentially slewing it, rather than physically pushing it.  Note that the wheels will not turn.  PMDG users may find their pushbacks smoother when using the FREEZE METHOD.  If using the Dash 8, you must use the FREEZE METHOD. note that the wheels while viewing from the exterior will not turn..

•   Fixed Add-on.xml file reader exception handling.
•   Fixed cache loader to read only airports with runways, not heliports.
•   Fixed Top-down view issue with Window 10 animations.
•   Fixed Canada language selection.
•   Fixed and improved marshalling onto stand guidance.
•   Fixed rare cases where the tow bar would disconnect visually from tug and nosewheel.
•   New Options Menu function to exclude “heliports” or any other desired airport by ICAO ID or Scenery Name.  This prevents, for example, heliports from being read.  The new option is called: “EXCLUDE AIRPORT OR SCENERY AREA”.

•   Added a new aircraft offset: “MAIN EXIT DOOR”, which helps UGCX define the final stop position when marshalling onto the stand.
•   New feature to scan the nearest airport’s ICAO name to improve scenery cache loading speed.
•   Added a small window to allow users to move the marshaller’s location during the following ground services.  This is useful if the marshaller is ever place inside a building so you can't see him.
    1.   Engine startup by hand signals
    2.   Marshaling onto stand operations
    3.   Follow me car
