Create a profile

A VBS3 profile stores all relevant information for a particular user, including:

•   Options configuration settings
•   Keyboard settings, custom key controls
•   Editable missions
•   Overlays
•   AAR and in-game video recordings

Location of Profiles:

Windows 7 & 8
First profile created
C:\Users\user name\Documents\VBS3

Subsequent profiles
C:\Users\user name\Documents\VBS3 Other Profiles

Windows XP

First profile created
My Documents\VBS3

Subsequent profiles
My Documents\VBS3 Other Profiles

Warning: Deleting a profile also deletes all associated saved games as well as custom created missions associated with that profile.

Addon Load Order

The folders are checked in this order:

    1. mycontent\addons
    2. vbs2\addons
    3. ca\addons
    4. addons
    5. user specific folder (f.i "C:\Users\Martin\Documents\VBS2\addons")
    6. mycontent\Campaigns
    7. vbs2\Campaigns
    8. ca\Campaigns
    9. Campaigns

Inside each of these folders all PBOs/ZBOs are loaded and then also all subfolders are scanned recursively. PBOs that are loaded earlier are "more important" and "mask" any PBOs with the same prefix that are loaded later.

Also, PBOs in the same folder mask ZBOs with the same name (i.e, PBOs are preferred).
