This edition is dedicated to the Stalingrad battle and the major events of this titanic battle. It includes the Stalingrad region map and eight (8) aircraft that flew in the skies over Stalingrad:

The first release in the new line of IL-2 Sturmovik titles was developed by 1C Game Studios and is dedicated to the Stalingrad battle and tells about the milestones of this great battle. It includes eight (8) aircraft which participated in the battle.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad can be used as a separate product or be integrated with BOM and/or BOK, resulting in one big WWII Eastern Front combat flight-sim.

La-5 Series 8



This is the early version of the legendary Lavochkin produced La-5. This plane was loved by Soviet fighter pilots, having proved itself to be a good aircraft from the beginning of its combat duty. Many Soviet aces flew it: Ivan Kozhedub, Nikolay Gulaev, Georgy Kostylev, Alexey Maresyev. It has good speed, a strong airframe and powerful 20mm armament. When controlled by an experienced pilot, this plane becomes a weapon to be feared.




Fw-190 A-3



Fw-190 struck fear into enemy hearts - the most powerfully armed among all the Eastern Front fighters. It was sturdy and dependable. It could reach high speeds and it made for a dangerous adversary. Walter Nowotny, Otto Kittel, Erich Rudorffer and other German aces flew it. The combat capabilities of this aircraft allow a pilot to be aggressive and engage on his own terms.




Collector Planes

In addition to Standard Edition contents, the Premium Edition includes two additional Collector Planes: La-5 and Fw-190 A-3. These fighters were cutting edge during the time of battle and as they just started to arrive to the frontline as the battle drew to a close. The extended aircraft selection makes the campaign more diverse and, of course, you can fly them on multi-player servers.

Hello everybody,

The next update 3.201 will be released really soon. In the previous Dev Diaries, we told what it will bring for Bodenplatte, but it will also contain many improvements for other projects as well.


The aircraft released in the previous TOWs also gets attention - Battle of Stalingrad owners will see IL-2 mod. 1942 and Bf 109 G-2 skins updated to 4K quality thanks to Martin =ICDP= Catney and Neeraj =BlackHellHound1= Bindraban. But not only visuals are being upgraded for our previous projects - we're also working on some sound improvements. For instance, DB-601 and BD-605 engine sounds installed on Bf-109s and Bf-110s will become more realistic in 3.201.
