FSiPanel 2017 for P3D IMPORTANT Update.

Dear Pilots,

FSiPanel web hosting provider has updated its security protocol blocking all unsecured traffic to FSiPanel registration server.

I have been working on a fix and the new version of your software is ready for update. Unfortunately, the automatic update is not working and you will need to download and install the new version manually.

Please follow the procedure below to update FSiPanel 2017 to version 1.0.0.52:

•   Login to FSiPanel user area  https://www.fsipanel.com/userarea.php, confirm your email and receive an instant access code.
•   You will find your license(s) as well as the download links.
•   Download and install FSiPanel 2017 1.0.0.52
•   Register your software using your license

Your will need to import new aircraft and update your SID/STAR database if required.

What is new on 1.0.0.52
•   Fixed check connection errors due to a server security (explained above)
•   Updated MakeRwys.exe to the latest version NEW: if the version installed on your computer is newer than the one deployed with FSiPanel, your newer version will not be overwritten.


In development:
•   As you know, Prepar3D has released version 4.5, I am now checking that all our aircraft are still compatible with this new version, I already got some reports of incompatibility.
•   If your favorite aircraft isn’t working anymore with the last update, please check if already reported on the forum and if not, please open a new thread.

   - Basic Mode Aircraft are now imported from the same menu
     as advanced aircraft. Just select "Basic Mode Aircraft"
     as addon.
   - Restart P3D feature updated for PMDG and FSLabs aircraft
     Make sure to have a default flight in setup and option enabled
     if you want to use it. Refer to user manual Automatic restart of P3D.
   - For Aerosoft fleet, option to restart P3D or load Raptor before
     your approach. For both options, a default flight path must be set
     in Options.

How to use FSiPanel 2017 with all your aircraft using the Basic Modes feature.

This feature will slew your aircraft in the correct position for your approach and will try if compatible to set your autopilot modes and nav setting for your approach. Safe landings !

I completed the Kathmandu APPR snapshot for the PMDG 737 that you can download off their website.  It was interesting being routed through the Himalayas and landing with an RNAV appr minimums set at 4,600.

Note with the AIG traffic, the jet ways are filled with the proper airlines for the region.

Both addons are FREE to use until Dec 14th, 2019

With this version, it is again possible to fly multiple approaches without having to restart P3D ! This is a great news for us, saving a good amount of time preparing our approaches.

Short videos on YouTube will be available shortly to demonstrate to new pilots how to use the software with these two new aircraft.

Procedure is the same for both aircraft, import it and fly!

All aircraft are unlocked COVID-19:

COVID 2019 is forcing most of us to stay home, a good reason to practice hundreds of approaches all around the world with our favorite aircraft.

To help us stay home during this difficult time, I decided to unlock all aircraft compatible with FSiPanel 2017 for P3D and FSX until April 30th, 2020.

What is new on FSiPanel 2017 for P3D
 The following aircraft have been added to FSiPanel 2017 for Prepar3D:

•   PMDG Boeing 737 NGXu Expansion Pack -600/-700
•   iFly Boeing 747-8

What's new on FSiPanel 2020?


Why is FSiPanel 2020 different than previous versions.

FSiPanel 2020 will no longer reload flights using saved situations, instead it will configure your aircraft using SimConnect and addon available Software development kit (SDK) . FSiPanel will now be able to set your approach in your FMC (compatible aircraft).

A new snapshot mode allows you to import and export snapshots, the forum will soon be full of training scenarios prepared by users or myself for you to practice within minutes.

As for earlier versions, we will include only high quality study level aircraft.

This software is designed for serious flight simulator enthusiasts wanting to practice approaches and different other scenarios exactly like the pros but without losing precious time.

The software falls under entertainment category and cannot be used for commercial training.
A special license and agreement shall be obtained for commercial use, this agreement shall also be obtained from the addon developer.
