two newbie questions
« on: March 22, 2018, 10:38:02 AM »
At first I must say Tacview is very nice and useful software for a reasonable price.. (Y)

First question:
Does license allows me to install tacview on three computers? I have two computers at home and one pc at our country house?
I'm the only user and I have Standard license...

Second question:
Can 3d view be somehow ''filtered'', that it doesn't displays all objects... E.g.: when I load my multiplayer session, I would like to display only three or four objects(planes), which are important for my dogfight,
and all other 50 or 60 planes and other stuff, I would like to hide.. If this can't be done, consider this question as a request for feature... ;)

Hello blokovchan,

Yes, for personal use, you can install Tacview on all your personal computers including the one(s) at your country house.

It is not yet possible to filter the objects displayed in the 3D view. Soon, you may be able to extract the objects you are interested in and merge then in a new file. I know this is not a great solution, therefore I am planning to add such filter, but this will be for a later update.

Feel free to post any additional remarks or requests!
