We created two incredibly realistic sound packages for the GE and RR engine variants. Each variant comes with a separate sound to truly make you feel and hear that you’re flying with different engines. May it be the humming sound of the electrical system, individual switch sounds, the hydraulic pumps back in the cabin or the loud recirculation fan noise in the flightdeck…our 787’s environment sounds will immerse you right away. All sounds were recorded on the real airplane.

Ultimate 787 Status Update: The First 36 hours
QualityWings Simulations·Tuesday, 3 October 2017

Thank you so much for your patience with us as we’ve finally managed to get this 787 out of Flight Test and into your fleet. With the Ultimate 787 just under 36 hours old, we are encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive feedback that we continue to receive on this initial release. We are also listening VERY carefully to the issues that you may be experiencing (even if a few of still haven't quite figured out how to communicate like decent human beings - but we are STILL listening to you).

787 Post Release Plan
So what's next for the Development Team? As with any NEW release, this Ultimate 787 will keep us occupied well past Release Day. Our top priority at this time is to identify any issues that customers might be having that prevent them from either (a) using the product completely or (b) items that significantly affect the flights. This is usually where some sort of Hotfix may be released, if necessary. We are gathering all the feedback that we receive on our forums and once things have stabilized, then we can provide you with a list of known issues. We will respond and solicit as much information as we can as we proceed.

Receiving Support
So what do we need from you? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE use the correct methods of receiving support. It MUST be in our support forums! Facebook is NOT for support. If you purchased the product, you must create an account on our forums AND you must register for Licensed Support here
I’ve had to turn off the Facebook Messenger App because of all the request for Beta testing, P3D questions, and people just wanted to talk lol. Occasionally support request would come through messenger as well. I know everybody wants things quick...please follow our process.

There were never any illusions on our part that there wouldn't be some issues to work through once the product gets release to the masses. It is IMPOSSIBLE for us to predict the behavior of everyone who files this new product: from the seasoned Boeing driver to the guys shooting videos of touchdowns doing 250 knots with no flaps extended (and everyone in between ). QualityWings Simulations will do everything in its power to make what’s great about this 787 even greater, make what’s good great, and what’s not so good better than you thought. Just be patient with us. If you can’t be patient:

Common Questions
In the initial stages of this release, there were a few of you that experienced issues that were related to overloaded Flight1 servers that included issues with a display error message and also duplicated purchases. This has since been rectified. Please see this topic. If you were double charged, please submit a Support Ticket with Flight1. Details here:

P3D Version 4 Questions
Thank you for your interest in the P3D Version of this product.

When will the P3D Version
First and foremost, our priority right now is NOT P3D V4. I repeat, our CURRENT priority is NOT Prepar3D V4. Our priority is ensure that the FSX version is stabilized before we introduce it into this additional platform. This is no different than anything we have said previously. We may be able to provide a better outlook on P3DV4 once we release a Service pack for the Ultimate 787 for FSX.

Will you provide release for P3D V3 or earlier versions?
No we will not. The Ultimate 787 will support the latest version of that platform.

If I purchase the FSX Version of the Ultimate 787, will I receive the P3D version as a free upgrade?
No, you will not receive the P3D Version as a free upgrade. We will come up with some sort of discount offer that will be fair for you and us. Details will come at a later date once we determine what is needed for P3D.

That’s all for now. Thank you again for your interest, support and patience. I will provide an Overall QualityWings Status Update at some point in the coming weeks after the Flight Sim Show in Cosford, UK this weekend. Come see us at the QualityWings booth and say hello. It’s always nice to meet you all in person.

Ultimate 787 Update - Version 1.1.1 released
QualityWings Simulations·Wednesday, 6 June 2018

Greetings 787 Drivers!

We have just released a Hotfix for the Ultimate 787 Collection, which brings the current version number to V1.1.1.
We would like to express our thanks to all our customers who provided feedback - good or bad - and thus assisted us greatly in finding solutions.

Of course this hotfix does not address every single reported issue but it takes care of some high priority items that needed to be taken care of quickly.

Now that the dust has settled a bit after the release we have a good idea of where we stand and what needs to be worked on.
We will of course continue to improve the 787 in the next weeks and months. Some key aspects will be a rework of the EFB Dispatch page, improvements to VNAV / LNAV, stability/performance optimization and more.

Version 1.1.1 Changelog
- NTDLL.DLL crashes related to weather radar (P3Dv4)
- Updated Navigraph navdata causes various issues

- Autosave should not trigger messages on CDU
- VNAV Descent profile issues
- FLCH/VNAV SPD transition after ALT HOLD can lead to overspeed
- DIRECT or EXIT HOLD while holding does not make aircraft exit the HOLD

- Throttles retract to idle or half power after take off on some systems
- Autopilot oscillates on systems with less than 10 FPS (P3Dv4)
- FSUIPC assigned axes compatibility improved
- 787-8 OEW too low
- Messagebox #42 BtSwEvent
- QWPAS and QWCAS settings on QW CONFIG page not being saved
- QWPAS parking code not working
- QW Dispatcher can't install a livery if that particular livery texture-folder already exists
- 787-9 RR TPR command sector draws a complete circle when pressing F4
- 787-9 pulls to the side during taxi/take off run
- SHIFT+CTRL+A warps aircraft to Lat/Lon 0,0
- Low volume ground roll audible when plane is parked (Cold and dark)
- Parts of the fuselage appear darker than the rest on some systems (P3Dv4)
- Exterior models: Passenger models not properly cut (P3Dv4)
- 787-8 RR exterior model actually shows GE engines (P3Dv4)
