Adaptiv is an active camouflage technology developed by BAE Systems AB to protect military vehicles from detection by near infrared night vision devices, providing infrared stealth.

At 0:46 of the video, did the object just disappear?

Yes and no. Subject becomes just very hard to see with thermal camera. You still should be able to see things such as heat radiating or from exhaust fumes and areas not coveret with adaptiv such as tracks and road wheels.

It can be that on this video they didnt even use real vehicle but a movable wall covered with these bricks.

Also I have heard from a friend who heard from someone else (So be suspectfull of what you read next) That these bricks are very fragile. AFVs move on harsh terrain and these bricks certainly dont seem to be able to take many hits from thick underbrush or branches.
I think he said that a Finnish officer reported that to be a major flaw in design that even while it hides vehicle from thermal camera... it still as surface is too weak for Finnish terrain as seen in test vehicles with some broken bricks.
