About Prepar3D v4 and Tacview
« on: June 21, 2017, 04:00:50 PM »
It seems that Prepar3D v4 is already working fine with Tacview!

If not already done, you may have to install the latest version of SimConnect DLL which should be available in:
Code: [Select]
C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi
Then run FSX2ACMI and your flight should be recorded as usual. You can launch and quit FSX2ACMI at any time, even while already flying.

In the coming updates of Tacview, I will turn FSX2ACMI into an addon DLL which will be installed directly in the appropriate folder(s). This DLL will be automatically loaded by FSX and Prepar3D, and you will be able to enable/disable telemetry recording and adjust other options directly from FSX/Prepar3D menus.
