It's good to see that in spite of a break up in the development team they keepl working on this module.

Hi Lusik
Nice video. Since this is an alpha, I hope that the Gold version of the flattop will feature a busy deck ...
...populated with busy crew and parked aircraft. Ala the opening 5 minutes of Top Gun the movie.

DCS F-14: Fight's On!

Some clips from an intense dogfight recorded in Heatblur's placeholder cockpit during a dogfight with a MiG-29! DCS: F-14A & B Tomcat is coming to DCS World in 2017. Like Heatblur's Facebook for more updates! https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/

I am pretty sure the Tomcat and Hornet will be out this year, and the Harrier sooner than later as well.

Since Heatblur team has split from Leatherneck Simulations the progress in the Tomcat is going well. I keep an eye on their Facebook page where they post minor updates. They are working on cockpit textures now, the flight model is done or almost done and avionics development is currently underway.

Regarding Hornet:

And a quote from ED Forums:
"DCS is a true "sandbox" simulation that is also designed to cover multiple time periods of interest such as WWII, Vietnam, Gulf War and others. As examples of products progressing to completion for DCS, "Normandy 1944" is in final phase of development and "Persian Gulf" is close behind."

It appears that Forrestal will receive the deck crew. The amount of detail is insane but they promised that it will not hamper performance (significantly).

It's hard to believe looking at these renders...
