The problem is one of sustainability. We need to keep it simple.

Everyone can look for missions but they must pay attention to the mods that the missions rely on.


Mods:
All mods should be available via Steam. This way it is easier to have the same version as everyone.

Missions:
We will download the pre-made missions from Steam.

On mods i do hate the future stuff in arma 3 but to play things like vietnam you need apex and im not paying for that at this time

Those mods are the core of what I put down the rest I should have listed as interesting...

Only one thing I am wondering about and that is the Burnes M1A1 and the Challenger, since most of us like tanks those are the best we can have there... these combined are less than 200mb...

Though it is easy to recoginise that this can become to much of a hassle.


Cup terrains I would wish... Cup terrains require Cup Core which is a bit under 8GB. I can keep it just over 8GB by only putting down chernarus or something but 8GB is a lot (I have it 5 times in differend repo's)...

RHS is kind of a necesity if you want some non futuristic opfor... Though RHS has grown as asid pointed out, while a 5 months ago it was 5gb it is now 8gb aswell...

This would make a repo of almost 9gb (or 5gb by only using one of the RHS mods) ... with only RHS and the core



Unsung needs apex which makes it an instant nono. It was more listed as interesting to check out. the other map does not.



Lets see who else is interested and as we have a few people new to Arma we can poke around with the basics.

I like to showcase a GM mission by me sometimes so we can see how that workes out. To be honnest I like GM Missions more than scripted ones and scripted ones tend to be more of a hassle with errors and other stuff...





@Pipe take a look at those first, if missions take of here again those are the ones you want on standby...

We have used them from the start.

Mods will not be added just for the sake of it.

Arma usually fizzles out like most other things here due to lack of support.

I have played a few missions over the last couple of months and it has worked well.

I will post a mission for this Saturday @19:00GMT. The post will have the mod details.

Taskforce radio can be confusing so pm me if you need help with setup (DOW members).

I played a 3 player mission last night with Beef and Wilso. I played a 2 player mission today with Beef. All the sessions used just CBA + TFR. We had a great time.

While I love all the cool new stuff if we going to do this MP we need to KISS. To many mods just going to create compatibility problems & that's nothing but a headache.

Ditto. Never used TFR so going to have a learning curve there I guess.

Only the mod part is of interest, there only select the mods Asid will list for the mission the first time...

The DLL needs to be moved into the showed spot and then activated by teamspeak as showed, the rest does not matter

Though with the new teamspeak the procedure has changed and it is probably better to ask us on TS about it... for that reason I am on an older build of teamspeak...
