Tweaking

The graphics settings for AntiAliasing and for Anisotropy must be set directly in the SOWWL.ini file. The default location for this file is My Documents/SOWWL. This file can be edited with Notepad or any other text editing program. The text to look for is:

[Initialization]
AntiA=2
Anso=2

Removing annoying sounds

Some of the sounds can be annoying in the menus. Like the sword sound or shot being fired. You can remove or replace them easily.

Examples:
Sword sheathing = "WL_NSDSheath.wav"
Musket shot = "WL_NSDShot.wav".

To remove
Navigate to the base/sounds folder and rename the file "WL_NSDSheath.wav". Putting an "x" in front of it is fine

To Replace
Rename the new file using the original file name. Keep it short

Steam Version:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Scourge of War Waterloo\Base\Sounds

Matrix version:
\Scourge of War Waterloo\Base\Sounds

What are the maximum settings? Is it 16?
ATM I setup 8 for each.
Are there fixed levels like 2,4,8-16 or can one choose a free value?

I have tried 8 and 16 and no difference is seen.

I edited it with the capitals etc.. it plays fine but when I exit the game and recheck the .ini file it has dropped the capitals and rearranged itself to look like this. Is it still OK, it plays OK and to be quite frank I can't tell the difference
