Everything described hereafter - still in development or exists only in the plans. Remember that a lot can change and the dates may be delayed. We will do everything to make changes more better and timely.

Reworking of the combat system. Abilities
Work is underway to updating the combat system. Some changes have already introduced in the game, the rest of changes will be added piece by piece in the upcoming updates.

You can move using WASD keys or by clicking on the ground. When you click on the target, you will attack it, or begin move toward it (when a shortage of distance to hit). Right-click is used to hit/shot without movement. The battle will be held on the non-target system.

The battle consists of a simple hits and abilities (much more powerful and requires more stamina). By the mechanics of usage, abilities will vary by:

•   used immediately
•   several uses in a row
•   accumulation to enhance the effect
•   passive abilities
After use, will start the cooldown of ability.

Effects
Is planned to introduce a several possible effects on the character:

•   disarming
•   pushing from itself and to themselves
•   knockdown
•   stunning
•   slowing, dash, speed-up
•   prohibitions on the negative effects
•   permanent aura (example: Shield defense of several people), one-time used (example: Inspiration), totems (example: Raising the flag).

Progression of combat skills
Experience for offensive skills will be calculated when damaging an living creatures. At that, each enemy has a combat level:
ferret, crow - 1. grouse - 3. hare - 5. fox - 10. deer - 15. boar - 20. wolf - 30. bear - 45.
player - 10 (to be able raise the level up to 15, fighting with each other)

The witches gain their former force. The darkness thickens over the lands of the Wild Terra. The evil is felt in every part of the world…
Pumpkins ripen at an incredible speed. On successful ripening of pumpkin, there is a chance to get a Jack-o'-lantern instead of harvest and sometimes something more terrible! (Jack-o'-lantern do not disappear when thrown to the ground.)
All over the world have appeared Unholy trees created by the evil witches.
Only true heroes have a chance to fight back the evil and dispel it through light!
Hang a Jack-o'-lantern on the Unholy trees to fight back the witches. Be careful, evil will not allow to dispel the darkness without resistance!
Winners of evil will get the rare Unholy leather for the manufacture a unique items of clothing (even without any skills).
The most distinguished heroes can receive seeds of Home unholy tree for decorating their possessions.

Details of the event and changes and fixes in the update 8.16

In the chat was added an explanatory inscription, to resolve mistakes beginners when they respond to the wrong channel.
Fixed stage of grapes. Now on the chopping branches, you get the experience of Agriculture and recalculate chance drying as was originally intended.
Updated Client shell. Anyone who had problems with the launch of the game via Steam, please switch to the test version and check.

We continue to talk about the processing of the combat system. Some of these innovations will be added in the near update. Here described is not the whole concept of battle system.

The character will have several defensive parameters that can be modified with equipment:

•   Defense. Expressed as a percentage. At 100% - the damage is not applied at all.
•   Chance to block. When triggered, the armor absorbs all damage. The frequency of use is limited. Applicable only in heavy armor.
•   Chance to dodge. The same as the chance to block, but without causing damage to equipment. Applicable only in light armor.
•   Absorption. If the incoming damage is less than this parameter, then the character does not receive damage, and block/dodge will not work.
•   Chance to parry. It depends on the type of weapon. Triggered only if the character stands still.

If the defensive parameter is triggered, above the target of the attack will be displayed an appropriate message. With incoming damage, equipment durability will decrease. Moreover, item of armor can be completely destroyed by the impact, if there is enough incoming damage.

Some basic characteristics of the weapon will be added: the minimum and maximum damage, critical chance and critical attack force.

Progression of defending skills:

•   In the calculation will use the combat level of the attacker, so it will be impossible to raise the high level on weak animal and players.
•   Growth of the skill Light armor and Shield mastery, occurs only when triggered successful dodge, block armor and a shield block. The high-level equipment will be more demand for leveling because of the increased chance of triggering.
•   Growth of the skill Heavy armor depends on the amount of damage blocked by armor.

Already soon we will be together with you test the changes in the combat system. Remember that it is still being finalized and developed. Later to the game will be added abilities and effects.

The Test PvP Server is open to everyone!

During several days you can free acquainted with the innovations of the coming update 8.17. The main changes will affect on the combat system.
9 new mastery skills of various types of weapons and armors. Added critical hits, parry, dodge and block. Reworked damage system. Updated the screen of servers selection. At destruction containers, all contents is now falling to the ground. Also trees graphics has been updated.

Improvements and fixes 0.8.17

All weapons now have the spread of damage and the critical strike chance. Both parameters are increased by the weapon skills.
Implemented the new mechanic of dealing damage to the player. Now in the calculation of damage, be calculated part of the body which receives damage.
The concept of "armor" is replaced by the percentage of defense, which indicates the amount of blocked damage, and also reduces the chance of getting the bleeding.
Blocked damage reduces the durability of that part of armor, which took a hit.
Added chances: parry, dodge and block the damage, which increase depending on the equipment and combat skills.
Dodging stops working when wearing part of heavy armor or shield.
At blocking, all received damage gets to the shield and deducted from it durability. If there is no shield - it role is performed by the armor.
After a successful activation parries, dodging and blocking, will take some time before re-use.
Introduced the skill Light Armor. Increases the chance of dodging and the effectiveness of armor defense.
Introduced the skill Shields. Increases chance of blocking.
Introduced the skill Heavy Armor. Increases the effectiveness of armor defense.
Introduced the skills: Swords, Axes, Blunt weapon, Fencing. Its affect the damage, the chances of a critical hit and parries.

Reworked the screen of server selection and search. Now you can see on which server you are playing, when, and the number of players on the servers.
If a container is destroyed, all items which were inside now drop to the ground. But it does not drop if the owner uses the "demolition".
Added the ability to run by double-clicking.
Added a test special effect when striking in melee.
Coniferous trees now have individual graphics of landings and drying stages.
All the types of trees now have three kinds of graphics, now the forest and gardens will become even more picturesque.
Now by default is not displayed the bottom debug panel. To turn it on - press P.
Fixed a bug with the scrolling chat.
Fixed errors of calculation of bonuses from equipment.
Fixed a bug with recovery durability without the resource consumption.
Added new parameters to config.js file.
GRAPHICS_3D_FULL_PRELOAD and GRAPHICS_FULL_PRELOAD. By default is false.
If you replace both at the true, the whole graphics will be loaded into memory at once and the game would not address to the disk at the time of the appearance of new objects on the screen.
CONFIG_KEYS - all configuring the keys moved to this block.

SHOW_PHASER_DEBUG renamed to LOAD_PHASER_DEBUG. Use it to completely unload the debug module from the memory, if it is necessary.

Update 8.17 - one of the largest in the history of the Wild Terra.
•   9 new skills. Mastery of various types of weapons and armors;
•   New combat parameters. Critical hits, parry, dodge and block;
•   New system of dealing damage. Calculated body part that received a blow, and armor that was equip on this part;
•   New server selection screen. Displays a news, number of players, search on servers.

•   Vitios. International PvP server. No safety areas.
•   Bonium. South America PvE server. PvP in disputable lands only.

We continue to rework PvP system. In the next update will appear 15 combat abilities that depend on the skills:

•   Roll. Allows you to quickly reduce or increase the distance.
•   Charge. Allows you to quickly reduce or increase the distance.
•   Defend. Hide behind a shield. While the shield is raised - blocking is activated without a cooldown, but you can not run.
•   Swift strikes. Several strikes in a row without delay.
•   Whirling rage. Deals damage to all enemies around.
•   Kneecapper. The blow to the shin.
•   Bouncer. Knocks the enemy upon impact.
•   Pounce. Rapid reducing the distance with enemy and hitting them.
•   Deadly strike. Strike the enemy ignoring his armor.
•   Suppression. Blow to the head. If your opponent without a helmet, he will die. Otherwise, he get a stun for a short time.
•   Stone breaker. Damages shield and prevents blocking for a while.
•   Puncture. Critical hit with a chance to cause bleeding.
•   Crippling shot. Stuns an enemy when hit.
•   Rain of arrows. Many arrows inflict damage on the area.
•   Rapid fire. Several shots in a row in a short time.

In this update into the game have been added: 15 combat abilities, opportunity to create a group, updated chat, new weapon and the unique cloaks for all those who have purchased access to the game before its release on Steam. More details about all the changes, see below.
