The price went down from USD9.99 to USD4.99. The latest version includes an update where you can manipulate the mission editor. Bought it. For iOS. I must say, the training modules are pretty slick and very professional. The GUI is very well done. I've only just touched the surface of this flight sim. I am impressed by it as it is a fully featured flight sim. Everything is there. From taxing, take offs, autopilot, landings, carrier catapults, Air to ground, dumb iron bombs, smart laser guided bombs, CCIP, air-to-air combat, avionics, radar modes and a rudimentary but usable mission editor. All on the iPad or iPhone. Phew. Okay the graphics are of course dated compared to DCS' F18 Hornet, but who's comparing?

One thing I knew about Graphsim's F18 games is that the plane doesn't really seem to swoosh past the ground at 600knots when it flies at 600knots. When I tried it it is still pretty much the same. Hopefully in the next few upgrades Graphsim's can ramp up the feeling of speed at low level flight, ala Tornado. Also, please Graphsim, throw in a fly-by view.

Is this sim worth it? My answer is yes. Converting this PC/Mac game (with a myriad of keystrokes) into an iOS game is no mean feat. Graphsim has done a very good conversion in my humble opinion.

Isn't that because you are using it on a touch-screen Ipad?  ;D
