Help files in Rich Text Format (RTF) added to each title.

They can be found in the title specific sections.

Major:
WWIIE.

Where are these help files?
Looked in the game folder no .rtf files.

Also, in game when i click the help tab in the top windows menu none of the drop down list options under help take me to any help files ect, no HTML is opened up in a browser.
The only one in this list is the "About WWII Europe" which brings up a windows dialogue with the game version.

I have followed the instructions in the "WWIIE Unofficial manual" Page 24 linked in this forum to check my "wwiie_app_links.cfg" file is linking to the address of Internet Explorer and also changed this to link to the path for Firefox but i can't view anything from the Help menu tab.

They are in the install directory. In my case: C:\Games\Schwerpunkt\wwiie

C:\Games\Schwerpunkt\wwiie\he1.htm
C:\Games\Schwerpunkt\wwiie\he2_files
etc.....
C:\Games\Schwerpunkt\wwiie\he13_files

Also HTML files are there for each one also. They are in the main directory.

Everything works as it should for me. I am using Windows 8.1 64

I hope this helps.

Franciscus:
It works for me also, under Windows 7.

As I do not like IE, I changed the first line of the cfg file to read:

C:\Program_Files_(x86)\Mozilla_Firefox\firefox.exe_

And now the html help files open ingame using firefox.

Note you should change the cfg file according to where youhave your firefox installed; and note the underscores, they are necessary for it to work

My bad the .rtf files are showing up as .docx Word files, i was searching for specific .rtf files :)

I looked through the Help files and they just have the same info as is in the "Unofficial Manual" so i wasn't missing some information i didn't get from that.
Thanks.
