Hello couple questions/suggestions
« on: June 22, 2016, 05:03:16 PM »
Hello,
first off you did a great job setting up the forums Asid, looks good. I was wondering if there is a way you could post a unit count and turn count for the scenarios? I'm more the medium to small scenarios kinda guy. A couple of suggestions, Someone should do a better tutorial video, the camera recording the screen is not optimal, although Mr. Dockel did a good job explaning things. Some better written with pictures AAR's / tutorial posts would be good. All the AAR's in the AAR section don't go very long, a few turns except bootlegger who's ends about 100 turns early.

please tell me i dont have to verify every post?

Hi Budd

Welcome to the forum my friend.

It is early days but we will try. This only applies to newer AAR's though.

It is in the works.

Working on it. Any and all help is appreciated.

how are the losses calculated? unit takes 2 losses, what did it lose, how many before it wiped out. What does some of the display attribute do, like Nationality, unit type, i k now what they say but it doesnt seem to change anything on the counters? I went through all the report boxes and they all disappear when you zoom or move the map, but the legends and game status windows blink put stay active. So if i pull the ground to ground report and happen to move the map to the battle location, it disappears and i have to reopen it.

The Combat Results Table is in the Help files.  The loss allocation is a basically random allocation based on a die roll.  The game goes through the stack several times allocating one loss to a unit.  If the loss of a unit equals it DF, then the unit is eliminated.

Nationality give the unit its basic color.  Unit type has several rules, and is displayed using NATO symbols.

The report disappearing if you scroll is a good comment that we have received.  It is on my change list for a future version upgrade.

Thanks, and hope this helps,
Ron
