Ponsse forest machine control handles
« on: June 08, 2016, 06:51:21 PM »
Talk about...  control handles.

In forest machines Ponsse is using currently ones like these..

Pretty awesome ones aren't those?  You can control almost entire machine with those handles. :D  Even movement of machine.

Though sad thing is that those cost 5500-7000  euros. For entire packed of two handles + arm rest.

Sooo  yeah I started to think that maybe AFV sim's gunners handles.. or proper joystic isn't that expensive after all  ::)

Well those would have if those would be used for writing as well. ;)

Thus... in the past those were button monsters. I mean early versions. Now these are highly sophisticated and more practical as well in size

Yup it is. But in great way :D

Here is small bit of history for you all to see... from where it started from. These...  joystics. lol

Im skipping mechanical part...  we all know how gear boxes are like... don't we?

It all started basicly when hydraulics were taken into use. - When one could direct oil flow with gentle move of stick
Here you can see most basic.. "modern" hydraulic hand guided valves

Towards end.. those went more hitech

more to come...
