It is getting a re-release as it is coming back under the control of the devs.

Steel Armor returns
SA will soon be "rereleased". What will change?
- updated to the recent version of GTOS engine (will get all the features and bugs from Operation Star )
- international version (just like the last DLCs for Operation Star - Eng/Rus in one package)
- reuploaded on GamersGate (the same place where UIG version was), and in theory everyone who bought could simply redownload the new version (but it has to be verified in practice)
- current and annoying (to developers) aspects will be fixed
- slightly modified interface and adjusted game mechanics
- Iran battlefield will be revised
- an interactive cockpit will be implemented in M60 and T-62
What is not?
- no new battlefields or vehicles
- no other (better) graphics
- no WWII setting
- no missions
- no network game
- no "thin" T-62 sight reticles
- no new operations
- no new parties to conflicts
- no new cockpits "

In the next patch:
1) Automatic selection of nearby vehicle for hit vectors in statistics.
2) Improved M60 cockpit: roundness, drivers panel, lights.
3) Restyled combat interface.
4) Maneuver algorithm changed.
5) Binocular cap slightly changed.
6) Some improvements in target selection (in automatic fire mode).
