History: Mil Mi-24 ( NATO nickname : Hind) is a large 5 blade combat helicopter and troop transport with transport to 8 fully equipped troops including pilots. The helicopter has been used since 1976 by the Soviet Air Force, its successors, and over 30 other nations. Its NATO name is Hind and variants are identified with an additional letter. Export versions, Mi-25 and Mi-35, is called Hind D and Hind E. Soviet pilots called the helicopter "crocodile". Hind is based on troop transport helicopter Mil Mi-8 (NATO nickname: Hip). The helicopter was operated extensively during the Soviet war in Afghanistan mainly for bombing Mujahideen fighters. USA delivered heat-seeking Stinger missiles to the Mujahideen and lots of Mi 24 and Mi 8 was shot down.
The model / model: Jul / 08 was the commenced and maiden voyage was in April / 10. It has Polish characteristics.
