The most notable difference between these old films and new documentaries is the tone of voice. In these old films it seems a bit devoid of any emotion. It's not that apparent in this film but I saw a couple in which the narrator was describing gruelsome scenes as if it was you aunt's 20th wedding anniversary.

I had goosebumps when I saw this video and I really look forward to it. Vulcan Productions managed to get hold of the original negatives of the famous William Whyler's documentary of Memphis Belle documentary. They colour corrected the original raw footage and it looks stunning by 1943 standards. It is a stunning different in detail, contras and colour saturation.

(English below) Impresionante demostración de vuelo de un F/A-18C de la fuerza aérea de Finlandia, en mi opnión, la mejor demostración de vuelo que he visto con el F/A-18 Hornet, el avión parece tener motores vectoriales, giros planos, toneles con alto AOA, giros con pedal, el avión literalmente se queda suspendido en el aire. Las imagenes que pueden verse en este video fueron grabadas durante los dos ensallos previos al festival aéreo Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 (RIAT).
Very Impressive display carried out by the Finnish Air Force Hornet Solo Display Team, the best F/A-18 Hornet demo I have ever seen (and I have seen a few), the aircraft seems to have thrust vectoring engines, perfoming flat spins, pedal turns, high AOA aileron rolls etc... The footage used in this video was recorded during the two rehearsals carried out the days before the Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 (RIAT 2019)

Finnish Air Force’s F/A-18 Solo Display at RIAT in 2019
Ilmavoimien F/A-18 Hornet-soolo palkittiin kahdella palkinnolla Royal International Air Tattoo -lentonäytöksessä Isossa-Britanniassa heinäkuussa 2019. Kapteeni Arto Uksosken lentämälle soololle annettiin lentonäytöksen parhaan yksittäisen esityslennon (Best Individual Flying Display) Sir Douglas Bader Trophy -palkinto. Ilmavoimien Hornet-soolo sai tunnustuksen toista kertaa peräkkäin, sillä viime vuonna palkinto myönnettiin kapteeni Lauri Mäkiselle. Lisäksi soolo sai RIAT-lentonäytöksen ystävien (Friends of the Royal International Air Tattoo) parhaaksi arvioimalle suoritukselle (Best Overall Flying Demonstration) myönnettävän As The Crow Flies Trophy -palkinnon.

Capt Arto Ukskoski's award-winning F/A-18 Solo Display at RIAT in 2019
The Finnish Air Force F/A-18 Solo Display flown by Captain Arto Ukskoski was awarded with the Sir Douglas Bader Trophy for best individual flying display at the Royal International Air Tattoo in July 2019. This was the second year in a row, as Captain Lauri Mäkinen received the same trophy in 2018. In addition, Captain Ukskoski was awarded with the As The Crow Flies Trophy for the best overall flying demonstration as judged by the Friends of the Royal International Air Tattoo.
The solo includes several high angle of attack manoeuvres - see the award-winning display from above and fly with Captain Ukskoski!
