Mission Summary :
Enemy forces have moved into Poland, that has had heavy losses. DOW company is to help them.

Excerpts of the battalion commander's orders for...

1) SITUATION:

a) Enemy:  [The enemy has moved north into poland. Many vehicles have been destroyed already from the heavy fighting. Poland has requested the DOW Company to come and assists with the 3/77th AR from the poland reserves in taking Towns 1 and 2.]
 
b) Own:  [DOW is to move south within our boundry to each phase line staying in line with the 3/77th to take over Town 2 while the 3/77th takes over Town 1. There is no map updates and all vehicles are blind. ]
 
c) Attachments and detachments: [36 Tubes of HE, ICM, and with Airstrikes are avaliable]

2) MISSION:
[DOW is to move south after the 3/77th moves out from the AA. DOW then is to engage and destroy any enemy that is encountered. DOW will take over Town 2 and if needed assists with Town 1.]

So far, no sporting events assigned.  However, this would be the last one open for some time as the post season is coming up which will tie up my evenings.  If I can join in, I'll take the Bradley.

Hey Assasin. I did look at this mission... and noticed couple of things.

IFVs have only normal smoke, while tanks have multi-spectral. Is this with purpose?

Also, Troops carried by CV90, and Brad are blind. Those are no use, cause being blind. Well with exception of HMG-teams with glass guns.


Also.. If IFVs are to do recon for tanks. Could it be possible to give them micro UAVs, or replace HMG with FO-squad instead? As for test, cause these are multi-crewed anyways? Also, multispectral smoke would be more protection to IFVs... of course depending of what kind enemy there is.

Idea with recon unit carrying FO team is that good places to call artillery could be spotted ahead, or atleast marked as TRPs.

As for micro UAV. Its surprisingly useful to spot hidden enemy's locations for even 5 km away, if not more.

I will change it lumi tonight, I am always modifying the mission anyways everyday such as I made a CAS support event from 2 A-10's. So it's no problem to change somethings

Lumi I added 2 FO's with UAV capabilities and multi spectrum smoke for the CV90 and the Bradley. For the Bradley I added 1 FO, a Javelin team, multi spectrum smoke and the latest ammo.

Assasin. Remember that micro UAV can be only used from rifle squad. So A squad of infantry must be rifle squad. If its anything else F2 and F3 views that is supposed to be for uav control are glitching with equipment sight (that rifle squad doesn't have and hence is only one able to control micro uav)

B team can be anything, I'd prefer it to be either FO, missile or HMG one on that order. To me FO would be most interesting cause cv9035-nl... I suppose is good for recon. It's still to be seen if I'm right or wrong. Oh!... FO team makes sense even more without map updates.

Anything else that comes to my mind... Hmmm.  I don't really know what else... I'd wish to know what is the enemy... I mean.. What is known of enemy if there is at all?

Like... Modern or old, and where its coming from. German? Russia? Sweden? Things like that. 

And urm... Scouts are fragile so maybe to have spare vehicle in case if worst happens. (For workin uav, it must exist on map area at mission start, but I suppose it could be computer controlled and freed to player with trigger.)
