The first simulator to counter environmental emergencies



The fight against environmental emergencies passes for virtual reality. From today, the State Forestry Corps, has one more tool. Thanks to the first immersive simulator Real Time Italian will be able to integrate and improve the training of personnel for law enforcement of environmental emergencies and eco-crime.
The simulator allows you to immerse yourself in a realistic way in a virtual environment in which players can interact dynamically in different environmental scenarios, using systems and equipment routinely used in real operations. The purpose is to educate and train professionals working to counteract the effects of eco-crimes for various reasons, forest fires, natural disasters up to the environmental disasters that sometimes wound the territory and the Italian countryside.
Training is absolutely innovative: occurs within typical scenarios of "serious games" from the military. The simulator Forest Fire Area Simulator (FFAs) provides students to acquire even an imprint emotional and sensory in addition to the usual notions of teaching imparted with traditional courses.
